Really overpriced restaurant. In my opinion (as an Italian) is very average in quality of food.Service was really good and professional except for a Inappropriate comment to my partner (in Italian Language) on the way out. No Really "classy " or professional for this kind of venue... Or maybe he didn't know that my first language is Italian..... I' am... More

I ate here about 10 months ago and was underwhelmed but I put it down to bad choice and a off night, it happens after all this place has a good name and looks the part! I returned last night with friends. To start we shared a main of calamari just shy of $50.00 it was nice but undersized .... More

We were a group of 20 who had only just met. We were taken to 3 tables upstairs and given great service and food. It was very noisy but thats to be expected with so many people. A good intro to Melbourne and its food culture

Disappointed in smoked trout entree, seafood pasta was very nice though. Service is friendly and timely.

We hadn't a booking but the manager gave us a table because someone didn't show up. The place is small, warm and cozy. Our italian waiter recommended the linguini and the Pork fillets and gave us some taste of wines to go with those. Food is great as well as wine. Service was very attentive and professional. Can't wait to... More

It has been a few years since I have eaten at this institution on Chapel St and will likely not return. I remember my last visit with such fondness, I was looking forward to returning. With a city full of interesting, value for money and exciting food options, Cafe e Cuccina needs to lift its game and not rely on... More

This is a small café that serves great food. The seating is so tight that you constantly have waiters serving over your head to reach the other end of the table. Love the food and very good service. The wine list however was overpriced. $60+ for an Australian wine was not sensible. worth a try.

Alarm bells sounded when we noticed wine prices for Australian wines were in excess of $65 per bottle, a markup of 300-400% is greedy and outrageous. Two of my fellow diners ordered the Salmon Fillet, which was extremely small for the price paid. My Calamari main course looked more like an entire size, leaving me hungry after dinner. Another one... More

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and I requested an 'amazing table'! We arrived at 9.00 pm, were warmly greeted and then taken upstairs to a balcony were there is one table for two. Perfect - a balmy Melbourne night and was very quite and romantic. We ordered the bruschetta and the Tagliata (Italian for slice steak)... More
