Nice

Lovely front of house staff, made us feel very relaxed. Food was inventive without being daunting. Interesting flavors and combinations. Safe to take your mother. Wine list a bit much, but all in all pretty good.

We turned up at the restaurant after a show and managed to get a table. The waitresses were accomodating and friendly. We ordered an antipasto to start followed by trout. The fish was sensational and perfectly cooked. There was a mystery wine selection but the manager was too busy schmoozing with other customers for us to ask about it!

This is a truly remarkable place offering a well grilled Tasmanian beef cut with a solid wine list selection. Great service!

Only had an hour before a show and we had tried two other places but were turned away. Bottega provided my daughter and I was a table and fabulous food. I enjoyed the beef cheeks, so tender and tasty and my daughter had the gnocci. Just beautiful food.

We went during the food festival and the special was $40 for a 2 course meal, with wine, coffee and fresh crispy bread to start with. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff attentive and knowledgeable about the menu . The choices whilst limited on the special menu still gave plenty of choice. We enjoyed the experience as well... More

I stumbled across this when looking for dining somewhere close to the theatre and this is around the corner from her maj theatre. They had a special for people looking for dinner before a show. It was really great food. Serve sizes were just right & not expensive. The restaurant was cosy staff lovely and we did not have a... More

Walked in, no booking on a sat night 7:30 (dreaming). Explained wanted quick in and out within the hour.Could they help. Not a problem, water, menus and bread delivered seamlessly excellent service, too many beautiful dishes to choose from I opted for steak, was cooked to perfection, tender, full of flavour. Pork belly melt in mouth, slithers of cracklin dry,... More

Pleasantly surprised for our first time at Bottega. Innovation and tradition find a perfect match in a good ambience, upstairs, with fresh air from a window which was an additional surprise. We had an entree of fritto misto and octopus and mains of pork and snapper with prosecco from Veneto. Good service, reasonably timed.

It's located quietly amongst more flamboyant restaurants and easy to miss but the dishes keep you coming back. Best deal is at lunch - 2 course for 45 or 3 course for 55 bucks. The waiters have always been nice and helpful. Once when I had to go to the airport with big luggage, the waitress help me store the... More

We took some friends here as a thank you present and had such a pleasant evening together. The food was delicious. The wine list, while pricey is extensive and enjoyable. The service was good. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. It is not cheap though. It is, however, worth the cost. You may also consider the pre-theatre dining options... More
