Decided to go to the nearest Italian from our hotel (Marriot CBD). Sleek and minimalist decor, exciting menu, attentive staff and fantastic somelier/manager who recommended some great foodie hotspots in Melbourne. Booked a table online via Dimmi, not sure whether this had an influence on table seating. Arrived to a warm welcome and busy vibrant restaurant, led upstairs to the overflow dining room, politely shown to table and jackets taken by waitstaff. The room was very cold, quiet, no atmosphere and about 16 patrons, five whom were wearing coats and one... More

I had heard great things about this place so was excited that a work function brought me to this place. Seated upstairs in a private room, there was plenty of space for the 30 of us. Due to the numbers we had an alternate menu, whilst I understand the need for this, to be served fish for both the entree... More

We came to this fine dining establishment with our 8 and 11 year old children. Whilst the waitress looked surprised when we walked in, she certainly didn't make us feel unwelcome. In fact, it didn't take long for the Italian's love of children to take over once they realised our children were extraordinary eaters and well behaved. Every plate went... More

We had a business dinner for 8 on a Saturday night. The restaurant and staff were very busy, however, they were friendly and attentive to each and every table. The food was incredible. From the slow cooked salmon to the baked baby pear there wasn't one complaint. I thoroughly recommend the Sangiovese slow braised beef cheek, perfect for a winter... More

We has the pre-theatre menu here on Saturday night. The goat ragu with pappardelle was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful with wine selections; they were also very helpful in catering to my wife's dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend and would set here again. Great staff.

We wanted an Italian restaurant in the CBD and found this gem with a Google search. We're so glad we braved the Arctic weather to try this restaurant. Impeccable service, a fabulous, inventive menu (it was really hard to decide what to choose), and a relaxed atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. It was fairly busy for a Monday... Another pre-theatre dinner but this time with a warm Italian welcome. My husband can never resist the oysters but I also enjoyed my fritto misto for starters. We tried both fish mains and they were very good. No time for dessert but we liked their wine list!

During a recent visit to Melbourne we stumbled across this restaurant by accident. We didn't have a reservation however we were seated immediately. The customer service of all staff and their ability to describe the meals and assist in making a selection was impressive. The food itself was delightful. Each plate that was presented was not only impressive to the... More

There wren 6 of us for lunch, 3 chose 1/2 Chicken, 1 Beef cheek and 1 Gnocci. All meals were serve together and neatly presented. Our choice of wine was "out of stock" The alternative was very satisfactory and because of this issue we were served with 2 complimentary cheese platters. A very enjoyable lunch.
