Not great for the vegos

Went here after seeing $30pp for unlimited dumplings. I thought this would be like heaven and that I would rolled out. I had called a week before to make a reservation and to have my friend show up first and there was no reservation under my name. When I got there about 15 minutes later I told the... read more

Miserable ,cold walk into this tired looking establishment for lunch. Twenty customers,a young male waiter. Prompt service. We were last here five years ago when the place was buzzing and the food was simple and delicious. Our order of four types of dumplings and stir fried broccoli came out hot and fully seasoned. The prawn in ginger sauce was gluggy,... More

Hi Eva, Thanks for your feedback, although we are saddened to hear that you didn’t enjoy dining with us. Since you last visited we spent a great deal of time consulting with lead interior designers to create a place that is both fun to be in and references our heritage. After we received your feedback I spent the afternoon with... More

Just popped in for lunch and was surprised by the great menu! Had the chicken dumplings and quinoa salad! Was delicious and tasty with a jasmine tea (no tea bag rubbish here!) They forgot one of the drunks we ordered but when prompted quickly rectified the situation... Would go again!

We ordered an assortment of dumplings and some peaking duck. Food was excellent. Upstairs is very cool and the vast tea selection is delicious. A solid choice.

We visited the Oriental Teahouse for a mid afternoon snack with some friends. It is clearly a location which operates all hours. The décor is quite edgy but inviting. The atmosphere is friendly and you are not assailed by loud music. The various dumpling dishes on offer are really nice - we had peking Duck pancakes, Salt and Pepper Calamari... More

Went for dinner last night and as per usual Stephen was on the money. He always looks after us with tea for our two young boys 4 & 2 and a great choice of beer for the wife and I. Singha I cannot go by and combined with copious amounts of dumplings we were again in heaven. the boys smash... More

Great concept of good Asian/yum Cha and big selection of teas. We were not aware it was yum Cha she going in but still went with bits of yum Cha and still ordered a few dishes. All were pretty good although I must say the pork ribs were bad, as tough as rubber boots. But nice setup, service was ok... More

We arrived at 6pm without a booking and were given a 'reserved'table. Once we sat down we were basically ignored. Staff were walking around but wouldn't make eye contact. When drinks were ordered we asked if the teapot cocktails ($22) could be shared. They gave us shot glasses with the teapot. We ordered food and received microwaved items. My partners... More

We flew in from Adelaide late and came here on a recommendation. The selection was vast and with nice balance. We chose some prawn dumplings, chinese veggies and crispy pork. All dishes were very tasty and this was sufficient for two together with a cute cocktail in a tea pot for two and a glass of champagne we spent under... More
