The staff had fantastic customer service- its been a long time since ive received such great service while out for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, we ordered the banquet which I highly recommend as you get heaps of meze size meals so you get to try bit of everything. All meals were delicious & we also loved their home... More

An absolute SHOCKER!!! Unfortunately I never had an experience like this before anywhere in Australia & around the world, even in the third world countries! I can’t restrain myself & simply writing this review to warn potential patrons what to expect from this business. I booked my Birthday Dinner Party with them approximately 1 week in advance for 12 people... More

Had a meal at Arabesque in Elsternwick last Saturday, 6:30. It turned out to be a good choice of time, because this place was full at 7 and easy to see why. The service here is outstanding: my BYO wine was decanted for me; the waiter was exceptionally knowledgeable about meal selection; there was no time waiting for water to... More

Getting the last table on a Saturday night was the first sign of good luck. A warm welcome and a sensible discussion of the menu led to a wonderful meal. Wonderful silver beet and upside down chicken. A restaurant obviously valued by its community and remaining relaxed and efficient despite the pressure. An impressive front of house team. We'll be... We can't understand what the fuss is. The menus are A4 sheets of paper enclosed in opaque plastic - meaning it is really hard to even read the menu . The Waitress informed us that three main dishes were not available (no calamari?!) and then could not tell us the ingredients of the resturants signature dishes and drinks. The owners... More

The food here is second to none, wonderful cuisine full of flavour and true to to middle eastern standards. We attended on a Saturday night and the place was buzzing. The only let down is the tables are too close together, loud atmosphere, we ordered a banquet which was served too quickly. There are 2 settings which I find annoying... More

I almost don't want to write this review as I want to keep this place to myself! It has to be one of the nicest restaurants my boyfriend and I have ever eaten at! I'm shocked that there are so few reviews on it here & that's the only reason I'm posting. We stumbled on it one Saturday evening and... More

Tucked away in an Elsternwick side street, this inspired Middle Eastern menu is full of temptations. From fillo pastry of spiced lamb pine nuts and a mouth watering pomegranate mollases to a slow cooked lamb tagine that was smoky, delicately flavored and close to the most amazing thing I have ever eaten, this place is a revelation! The thoroughly professional,... More

Food is nice, but the place is very noisy. Even with 2 or 3 occupied tables the place gets very noisy. Portions are small
