My first visit to the Tippler & Co was before a footy match, where we could enjoy a delicious lunch in the warm atmosphere before a quick walk to the MCG. With so many delicious plates to choose from it was hard to decide! The staff were excellent in recommending drinks to accompany our meal. I have since been back... More

Called in on a Friday night after work. Full at 6pm but empty by 8. The sharing plates were very good. Just what you need with a bottle of wine when you're catching up with your friend. Worthy a try.

We really enjoyed the food & the pate was one of the best we've ever had, we did order 2 bigger meals which came out at completely different times which was a little annoying but overall the food was really good & its more Tapas style dining. We sat at bar chairs & tables which was fine but they do... More

Short(but very cold)walk from our accommodation at Knightsbridge Apartments. Into the warmth! Was early on a Thursday and pretty quiet but the food was divine and very fast. Service was spot on,very welcoming and we had our two girls (11 & 13) with us,they loved it too. We had lots of share plates and managed to share a couple of... More

Tapas for three. The Tippler and Co....what an excellent choice for a casual drink or three and bar food for a group of friends, or foes even. We loved the relaxed vibe, the friendly staff and the terrific tapas. Lots of tastes to try, cheesy pumpkin arancini, melting winey beef cheeks and mmmm duck pate.....I could drink it all day....and... More

6 friends ate here last week and all chose the 'let us feed you' option which was great value. All courses were nicely presented and very tasty - one highlight being the roasted cauliflower salad which was devoured by my husband (well known as a cauliflower hater). One friend with special diet needs was adequately catered for. Will definitely eat... More

We stopped here for a meal before the footy at the MCG, mainly choosing this place because it had jumped to number one spot ahead of the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant (which should not be No. 1). We couldn't get a booking at an italian restaurant nearby & were intrigued by the menu at Tippler. First impressions....not great. There's something really... More

We recently tried The Tippler while visiting Melbourne on our very last night, after seeing it pop up a few times online when researching where to eat out. And we're so pleased we did! We were hard pressed to find better service or food on our trip. We had the beef cheek and the gnocchi - both delicious.

First time visit to this newish bar/restaurant was favourable. With the interior a bit stark, a blonde wood look and the only seats in the house are stools that topple over due to only having three legs, the place is interesting. (heard four stools topple on our night) On a positive front the food is great. Our mussels, panned gnocchi... More

Tastiest selection of food, great atmosphere and staff - has it all, wish it was just round the corner and not in another state!
