Murtabak

I googled , best Murtabak in Melbourne and your restaurant came up. I was not disappointed, although I noticed you don't mince the lamb. After living in Singapore for some time ,I have had some of the best. Would recommend to others. Huge serve , good prices

I wasn't sure about entering this place as the food in the bain-marie looked old and the place was empty. However, we ordered from the menu and the food was good, although the portions were small. The atmosphere, such as it was, was ruined by a squealing child (presumably belonging to staff) and sports on a wall-mounted TV. Definitely not... More

Right next door to Mamak. Really wanted some roti and curry but Mamak was closed so happened to come here which is just next door. We had the pre-cooked food (as in food court servings) which is fairly priced - the usual 2 choices with rice/roti or 3 with rice/roti. Our roti was cold but one of us were lucky... More

We visited Zam Zam with a voucher and were bitterly disappointed with the food. It was luke warm and served from a bain marie. I'm sure at lunch times the food is fresh and very nice, but by dinner time it had clearly been sitting there for a long time. We left wishing we hadn't eaten anything.

I wanted a place to have good biriyani. This place has excellent Dum biriyani and very good indian curries. Loved the food so much that I visited the place 5 consecutive days in a week. If you like indian food then this place has very good deal and value for money at under AUD 15/- The staff are friendly and... More

We were so lucky to stumbled upon this restaurant. Being Malaysians ourselves, cant miss our "mamak" treats & this restaurant provided us with just that all the way in Melb. With a real good bargain of only AUD 10, you can get a complete satisfying meal plus a drink. Beside biryani, the roti was a star too. Not to mention... More

Not very crowded but food was all in display. Tried the Half Biriyani's with Rotty. With came with 2 types of Meat n Veges which... More

Though the Roti is good, the gravy is terrible, the Bi Hoon goreng is tasteless, and the people there are snobbish..

Ordered a lunch special, 2 meats , 1 vege, 1 roti Chana's and rice. Price was A$10.50. The chicken Makni and Lamb were ok. Okra vege was good. For the price cannot complain. Mamak next door had a lot more people , but you would pay the price for the variety required as they don't have specials.

Got there on a voucher, you're hardly given any choice, the food was luke warm, the spice combination was terrible. I don't like to give negative feedback but this place is well below standard.
