Excellent good great service can be very noisy at times but always really good music playing! Sometimes the front of house staff can be a bit arrogant but in saying that I wouldn't want their job!

More expensive but the food is really great. The dishes are smaller so if you're out with friends, get a few to share. On average between three people we got 6+ dishes at about $100 all together. The staff are great and the restaurant creates a great atmosphere.

We visited on a weekend and as The Age review had warned, expect it to be busy! However, it wasn't just noise and a crowd - the place had a great vibe and the food was truly flavourful. The sticky pork was amazing and highly recommended.

On a recent trip to Melbourne we were able to lunch twice at Chin Chin - we were lucky enough to have only a short wait on both occasions. The food is great, the service informal but efficient and the place seems to be packed with happy diners.. Will go again on our next visit

My wife and I think this is one our favourite places to eat! Asian infusions which will impress, funky staff, reasonably priced, it is a tuck shop so don't come with a family of 6 or more! This is suitable for 4 max as there will be a line =) well worth the wait.

My partner and I ate here recently and though the waitress warned us we ordered the smashed green papaya salad ($16) and Crying Tiger Wagyu beef ($29) which were both quite hot. We enjoyed the green papaya salad but not the crying tiger beef - it was very wet and sloppy and if waygu a lower grade and probably unnecessary... More

If you have to wait, go downstairs to Gogo bar for an hour, it's a funky bar with sake and very mellow atmosphere. We waited around 40 minutes and our group of 5 were seated upstairs and ordered the banquet option. The food was absolutely fantastic, very flavorsome and there were heaps of different dishes to try. My only complaint... More
