I went here with group of friends back in March. The food was nice and it was super crowded with long queue. I like the sauce in each dish most. It is a totally whole new way to experience Asian food. Recommended!

I had heard a bit about Chin Chin and was worried it would be just too trendy for words and not all comfortable - the word from the people I was talking to was that the food will make up for everything. Well it was trendy but in the best way possible and it wasn't totally comfortable either. But again... More

Yummmy. I haven't stopped dreaming about the kingfish sushimi since I gad it first time. Delicious food, well presented but if waiting for a table is not your thing then don't come. Saturday @6pm and the queue was 3 hours!! Go midweek or lunchtime. Well worth the wait. Sensational taste carnival

Much anticipated visit to Chin Chin met all expectations. Chose the "Feed Me" option which provided delightful variety, at a reasonable price, so left happy and fully fed. Liked each course enough to buy the hard cover book, featuring the Chin chin history, and well presented recipes

came here on a friday night after hearing all my friends rave on about the food. it was superb! you have to wait a little while to get your table but the service is friendly and efficient once seated. We had the 'feed me now' menu which consists of 5 sharing plates and is very generous in size. The massaman... More

Right, so I'm always skeptical when people say that something is 'the best' but I can safely say that now I am one of those people. Everything about my experience at Chin Chins was superb; food, wine, atmosphere and the service. Our waitress for the evening was Georgia. Her knowledge of the menu was in depth and when we asked... Recently had dinner at Chin Chin. Although bookings not taken we were sent a text when table available and it worked well. It's a very busy and noisy place. Designed for quick dining although we did not feel rushed. Extensive menu and we enjoyed everything we had, espcially the crispy barramundi with caramelised pork belly!!

This was one of the best thai restaurants I have eaten at. I would recommend getting there early as it fills up very quickly. We got there at about 630pm on a Friday night and had to line up briefly. When we reached the friendly staff they took our mobile number and gave us an approximate time that a table... More

Had heard about Chin Chin from a few people and being new to Melbourne, it was the perfect place to catch up with visiting family. The first of our party arrived and put our names on the waiting list and as the rest of us arrived, our table was ready. We ordered 7 meals between the 5 of us as... More

If you are in Melbourne and love Asian food this is a must. The food and service are fantastic. We had Sunday lunch so got in easily but I understand at other times you need to front up and put your name down and wait. It's so worth it
