Expect a wait if you are planning to arrive after 5.30pm however patience is a virtue. The food is some of the best Asian infulence you can get in Mebourne. Try the corn fritters with chilli jam, slat and peper squid or some of the best chicken wings you will try anywhere. The mains are equally high quality. Don't be... More

The food speaks for itself and it has a beautiful but simple presentation. I had the salmon fins with banana leaf salad - just the right amount of batter and cooking time on the fish. The salad was a really good amount of spicy. The whole dish rounded out well with the composite of flavors. The lamb in betel leaf... More

Start queuing up anytime between 5.15pm to 5.30pm on a weekday and you might just get in at 5.45pm. By the time you're seated, have your drinks ordered and surveyed the surroundings: it's time for dinner. If you come anytime past the aforementioned times... Be prepared to be standing in line for upwards of 45 minutes. I've been to Chin... More

Arrived at 5:30pm and we're lucky enough to get a seat, if we had of been any later we would have had to line up(still worth a 20min wait). The service was excellent, all staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The food was simply outstanding, the best we have had in Australia and matches the authenticity from our Asian experiences.

Superb food with unique atmosphere and excellent service. The palm sugar ice cream sundae is simply the best.

Melbourne is a city full of great food and Chin Chin is one of the best. Amazing fushion food in a great atmosphere with great service. Only bad thing are the huge wait times - you need to get there early or risk a couple hour wait. Highly recommend.

Went here with a work function (booked table for 12) - fantastic food, good service - couldn't eat all of it and had to tell them to stop bringing more....Will be returning with my partner and would wait if need be - worth it.

Hard to get a table i believe. Fortunately i was travelling solo and had no problem getting a table. I went twice as had been turned away by other busy places. Chin chin did not disappoint. Food was delicious although a bit on the sweet side. The cocktails well wonderful. Try the one with he lyche-rosewater iceball it was scrumptious.... More

Do not miss the Hopkins River beef ribs. Can't go wrong with any one of the salads. I disliked that I had to pay for extra chili - only sold as a side of order in a few different form.

The food I ate at Chin Chin was some of the best food I had eaten any where, ever! We selected the 'feed me' offer and they didn't stop doing that until we were well and truely full. The food was delicious, the wine superb and the staff friendly and ready to help! I would definitely recommend Chin Chin's to... More
