First time here had lunch with a friend and the meal was outstanding. The place was packed but the service was impeccable - will definitely be going back.

Really trendy spot for dinner with friends. We had to wait 1.5hrs for a table which is the norm so plan your dinner factoring this in. They have a cool little bar downstairs where you can have a few drinks whilst you wait; also bustling and busy but fun. The food is Asian influence, mostly Thai. Great food, some of... More

Second time for us. Showed up for dinner at 6pm in the hope of not having to wait too long (but prepared to wait for an hour or so). We queued outside for maybe ten minutes, then when we finally made it inside we were told that the waiting list had already been closed as it had exceeded four hours!... More

the Pad Shew is my favourite, but overall the foods are nice and this restaurant just bring Asian Food to the next level. Well Done! ... some suggestion: maybe you can make smaller portion our of main course menu so we can try lots more varian next time, without being too full and maybe cheaper price for smaller size. ^_^... Expect a wait if you are planning to arrive after 5.30pm however patience is a virtue. The food is some of the best Asian infulence you can get in Mebourne. Try the corn fritters with chilli jam, slat and peper squid or some of the best chicken wings you will try anywhere. The mains are equally high quality. Don't be... More

The food speaks for itself and it has a beautiful but simple presentation. I had the salmon fins with banana leaf salad - just the right amount of batter and cooking time on the fish. The salad was a really good amount of spicy. The whole dish rounded out well with the composite of flavors. The lamb in betel leaf... More

Start queuing up anytime between 5.15pm to 5.30pm on a weekday and you might just get in at 5.45pm. By the time you're seated, have your drinks ordered and surveyed the surroundings: it's time for dinner. If you come anytime past the aforementioned times... Be prepared to be standing in line for upwards of 45 minutes. I've been to Chin... More

Arrived at 5:30pm and we're lucky enough to get a seat, if we had of been any later we would have had to line up(still worth a 20min wait). The service was excellent, all staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The food was simply outstanding, the best we have had in Australia and matches the authenticity from our Asian experiences.

Superb food with unique atmosphere and excellent service. The palm sugar ice cream sundae is simply the best.

Melbourne is a city full of great food and Chin Chin is one of the best. Amazing fushion food in a great atmosphere with great service. Only bad thing are the huge wait times - you need to get there early or risk a couple hour wait. Highly recommend.
