Great Caeser Salad

Were really busy but still found us a table - we were in a super hurry and they were very accomodating and fast. Loved the caeser salad. Good prices too.

Used a Groupon, for the price I don't blame them for serving small simple meals, those meals were in the menu too though. Lygon Street was busy and bustling and this place was empty. The waitresses were wearing platform shoes??

Went here on a our deal voucher. Sounded great but found you had to share single serves of everything. Even dessert. Had to order extra costing more than the original voucher. Thank goodnrss there were some decent coffee shops up the road. Wont return

Came to this restaurant with an Our Deal voucher. Had the waitress recite a few dishes that we could order which was off putting as customers usually like to peruse a menu. Antipasto plate was passable!!! Spaghetti Marinara was swimming in tomato sauce and was packing a generous amount of chili. I wished the waitress had mentioned the chili as... More

slow service...our table wasn't even set. the salad had wilted and had no seasoning; infact, most of the food had little or no seasoning. worst still, they had run out of ingredients to make what's on their menu, limiting our choice. this place needs a new chef and management!

As I stepped in the door I was asked what meal I wanted as they may be out of the ingredients. Unfortunately I did not take this as a red flag and still chose to order the bruchetta and grilled chicken prosciutto meal. unfortunately the bruchetta was drenched in oil with not a great deal of toppings and the main... The food here seems to be a poor imitation of Italian food. Not my favourite food in the world but I do get the impression there is no Italian people involved with this cooking. I have a bland messy looking pasta and the lasagne wasn't to appealing either. Maybe a little can be done with the food and it could... More

This is a restaurant trying hard to be Italian but in my opinion failing significantly.Dinner was an extremely disappointing experience which began with none of the wines listed on the menu being available, we had to contend with their range of three wines. The food was certainly below par, with no prosciutto available for any pizza, trying to convince me... More

Save your money & find somewhere else to dine - wines available are low quality - steak is under-cooked - pasta is poorly prepared & tasteless - unreceptive to criticism & still insist on charging premium $$ Rating 2/ 10 . . woulda been better to go to the corner fish n chips shop !!

Staying in Lygon Street

Neighborhood Profile
Lygon Street
If you want real parmesan, cut from the block, grated over your pasta with a twist of style, this is the place. Until recently, this neighborhood was home to the notorious ‘Carlton Crew,’ a pseudo mafia who started their day with a local espresso. They are gone, but the espresso still runs strong in this Little Italy which has something for everyone. Starched white tablecloths, candles, pizza the way they do it "back home" and maybe even a bit of amore. The number of gelato choices will leave you in a state of indecision and wide footpaths, big awnings and a sea of packed tables makes this al fresco dining experience a continental buzz. Even if you’re not eating, it’s worth the stroll just for the people-watching, which, of course, is an Italian tradition.
