The food is tasty but the meals were to small. I recommend it to someone who as a small appetite, however I don't recommend it to someone who has a big appetite. After I had a main I felt like that was a snack. The food was lovely but was just to small for me.

I can easily recommend Muttis function room for your function. The space well set out and organised. The staff were very helpful, especially Philip and Laura. The staff had the space set up as discussed. The canapés that were passed out throughout the evening were fresh and hot. The bar staff kept up with the service for the party guest.... More

I was very impressed with Muttis overall! Staff were very friendly and the service was top notch...until the end of the night when they could easily have gotten dessert and/or coffee out of us and never came back to our table once the plates were cleared. But having said that, plates were cleared promptly and all in one go (!wow!),... More

Well the staff are very pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere was one that I would expect from a typical Austrian/German restaurant nice and homely. Now the food what a nice selection. I started with the Pinzgauer Kaspressknödel as an entrée and then Free Range Pork Kassler washed down with some nice Austrian Stiegl Goldbräu. My wife had the Paprika Topfenpalatschinken... More

We dined here for the first time yesterday with friends based on the reviews we had read. The venue is in Elgin street and can present parking problems on a Saturday night we however found parking straight away ( lucky ). The restaurant is actually larger than it looks from the outside with a private function room also available, the... More

We have visited Muttis on several occasions, and each time we enjoy ourselves and leave satisfied. On our latest visit we were disappointed to see that the Pork Hock for 2 is no longer available. Some in our party were sad as this is what they were looking forward to, and the single hock is not at all the same.... More

Hi Elizabeth! Thank you for your review, we were really glad to hear you enjoyed your evening here with us and that you enjoyed our Pretzels! I am sorry that you weren't able to enjoy our Hock for Two - it definitely still is on the menu. As it can be hard to keep up with demand, we now only... More

Muttis was a little quite on a Wednesday evening, which was a little disconcerting but that did not detract from the quality of the food or the service. We had the salmon and terrine for entree which were nice, however the pork hock for main was AMAZING. Crispy crackling covered a soft and gelatinous flesh. Simply beautiful. Accompanied by a...
