Description: This hip urban space in Melbourne's CBD is a welcoming retreat from the cold with its effervescent fit-out, attentive service and creative cuisine. Queen Street Rescue Restaurant Bar dishes out contemporary Australian fare with unique flavour combinations. The restaurant has a rustic, weathered look about it, from the shabby chic wall panels in white, baby green and lilac hues to the long timber tables with their bucolic-style wooden chairs. Great food, wine and some old fashioned table service where the wait staff do more than just take your order but make you feel like you've been coming here for years! We also cater for those needing a Gluten Free menu!

My boyfriend and I recently arrived in Melbourne and were surprised at the price of alcohol out here. Luckily we came across QSR who saved us by having a great happy hour, in a really good bar/restaurant. The staff are really friendly, and the location is great.

This is a small restaurant, with a short menu, but the service and the food was simply off the charts. If you are visiting Melbourne, do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant. You will not regret it

Close to the corner of Bourke and Queen Street, next door to the Adina Hotel. The QSR provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly environment with good after work atmosphere. Small menu but the food is cooked and served well. Try the steak and chips ... I asked for medium-rare and it was mouth watering perfect! Give it a try if... More

We stayed at the adjoining Adina Apartment/Hotel and patronised this restaurant for the majority of the time we were there! Food is reliably fantastic! Had 2 of the best breakfasts I've ever had....AND the coffee is great as well. Good job QSR - we'll be back for sure. :)

This little café adjoins the Adina Hotel which was very handy. There are so many restaurants in Melbourne to choose from, but we were persuaded by the previous reviews on Trip Advisor to give this restaurant a try. We weren't disappointed. There is a good choice of meals on the menu, eg pizza, pasta. There was a happy hour between... More

I often go to QSR for business coffee catch ups and have always wondered what the food would be like. So I decided to take my husband there for dinner and check it out on a Wednesday night. It was really a lovely surprise! The staff are very friendly and professional - you almost feel a part of the family.... More

We just walked past and so glad we went in. Great unassuming service and atmosphere. Food was wonderful and not too expensive. Would definitely go back and recommend to everyone.

Great place for breakfast, especially when staying at the Adina upstairs. We can recommend the bacon and egg sandwich, the Tasman salmon and the yoghurt and sticky muesli.

Unassuming hotel-linked venue with fast and very friendly service. Quality food with outstanding value. Worth a visit as it offers better value than large hotels and better quality fare than offered by other eateries along Queen Street.
