Horribly bitter coffee, poor service and no soy milk for our lactose intolerant buddy's. Very disappointed.
I was in Melbourne and decided to go to the Queen Victoria Market, since it was just down the road from where I was staying. Wondering around the markets I came across the market lane coffee shop and was tempted to try a coffee from there after reading the quote/slogan on the outside of the shop window "We love to... More
such good coffee! Visited here twice while in Melbourne, iced coffee during the heat wave and a flat white later in the week. Excellent coffee both times, knowledgeable and friendly staff
I had a wonderful pick me up on my way out of Victoria market. Great coffee and wonderful staff, the atmosphere within the cafe is relaxed and vibrant. People will line up for this sort of thing!
Quite a disappointing afternoon all round. Despite the website menu and a member of staff advising us that both coffee and tea was included with the afternoon tea menu we were still charged for the 2 coffees we ordered. Staff member then had to get "permission" from manager to take the coffees off the bill. Whilst we can't complain about... More
Staff was friendly, guess because she was a part time or it was a great day for her. Coffee was amazing, totally worth the wait. I personally don't add much or even any sugar in my coffees, and their coffee certainly leaves a good taste even after finishing the whole cup.
I guess the girls that were serving at the Market Lane Coffee were in a bad mood that day. I don't have an idea why everyone is raving about it. I thought I should try their coffee since I am a frequent shopper at the market. Asking for just a coffee and the lady at the counter controlling her bad... More
Soo many coffee choices in Melb but this here is the benchmark. No if's or buts! They have many flavours of coffee to try and made in several methods. I am no expert but have never been disappointed at Market Lane. Only issue is no Soymilk so a bummer for meeting with my girlfriend who is forced to drink black... More
These guys not only roast up sensational blends and single origins they also ship promptly (usually with a nice little note), and offer various coffee paraphernalia to allow people to extract great cups from home and further their understanding of the coffee journey from crop to cup. I've been to the CBD store only and order from the online store... More
Great coffee, nice pastries. Though they didn't have soy milk... Regardless, enjoyed a long black. Friend had a regular milk coffee and said it was also great. No tables or chairs, only benches. A pleasant morning coffee. I recommend!
