Breakfast

I've never been for lunch or dinner but heard great things. Always eat here on a weekend and order the zucchini fritters. It gets busy so if you want a table maybe call and book. Good service and staff are nice.

I recently visited Third Wave Café and ordered the 700 gram Dinosaur Ribs with a side of coleslaw. The friendly staff presented the meal with out too much wait at all and it was cooked well being juicy and very flavoursome with the spicy dry rub and dipping sauces fantastic. Top job I will be back to try other items... More

I have eaten here a number of time over the past 18 months. I have had a number of work meetings, staff breakfasts and the odd drive by lunch, and all have been fantastic. The food is brilliant. From the Third Wave Mini Breakky Burger, to the Texan Fry up and of course the candied bacon, every single meal i... More

I used to live in Port Melbourne and didn't realise this little gem until 2 weeks before I move out of the suburb! Melbourne is known for good brunches and I think this one is definitely up there. Their baked eggs is my favourite, must try when you go there!

Just stepped off the Spirit of Tasmania and looking for a good coffee and a bite to eat. By chance, we came accross the Third Wave Cafe. There were tables under the trees on the pavement, under the outside awning and inside the cafe. Light breakfast was yum yum, poached eggs on multigrain muffin, coffee was so good we had... More

There are plenty of great cafe's in Port Melbourne, but Third Wave stands out as my favourite. The coffee is outstanding and Chris, the barista, is a master at his profession. The service is unfailingly friendly and the food is excellent. The chicken quesadillas with barbeque sauce and the Reuben sandwiches are personal favourites but everything on the menu is... More

We visited for breakfast after disembarking from our cruise with family. Loved this quirky little place and the menu was great. Plenty to choose from. The candy bacon sounded really interesting. I had the zucchini fritters which were lovely. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food and coffees. Service was prompt and the meals came out quickly too. Good for... More

Was needing a place nearby port and they had good reviews on coffee. My mate and I ended up having lunch too as menu was very diverse and food coming out of kitchen looked and smelled so nice. Coffee was fabulous too! Told waitress I was not overly hungry and she suggested the breakfast burger which was fabulous and not... More
