Love coming here when ever I get the chance. Not always an option with my work trips to Melbourne but highly recommended if you can squeeze a visit in. Love the deli/dairy hall. A stop at curds and whey is a must, their organic dairy selection is awesome and frequent free tastings always a bonus! The fruit and vege section... More

This market closes on Monday and Wednesday, opens on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday to Sunday. night market was on Wednesday. You could shop from vegetables, fruits, local and imported gourmet foods, cosmetics, clothings, souvenirs etc. The market place was huge with a huge car park. The market is located at North-West edge of Melbourne's CBD. A short walk from the City... More

At Vic markets the food area is great and special. It is also very good for souvenirs (that is if you like the kind made in China) Also the cheapest place for Ugg boots and Akubras Great atmosphere

I've been to the Queen Victoria Markets quite a few times but every visit makes me enjoy it more and more. We had breakfast of borak, fried chicken, fresh oysters and sweet fruit while walking thru all the different variety of shops. I got some handy kitchen gear, clothes, leather wallet and belt, all of good quality and value. A... More

Visited the markets for the first time. Entered into the pavilions selling cheap and nasty clothing, toys and other random junk direct from a factory in Asia. A pity really. Made my way to the food which was far more interesting and entertaining. Great selection of stall well laid out and prices were great.

Had great fun exploring the variety of shops. Must visit if you are going to Melbourne. The food court is not very big but has some variety.

I love the market. You get the best deals on everything from T-shirts to tea towels. Great produce to snack on during your stay. My favourite stand is the opal stand run by the Moores. They are a father/daughter team from Australia. On my trip in 2009 the dad showed me how to pick out the best opals. This last... More
