Great place to visit

Went here to get some gifts for home, brilliant choice! The food market has to be seen with amazing fish and meat cuts, had a coffee in the food area and hot jam doughnuts outside from a truck. All very good!

What a fun market to browse! Loved the sights, sounds and smells and was pleasantly surprised with the prices, especially in comparison to the smaller markets in the area. Even if you are just going to see a little bit of Melbourne culture, it's a fun afternoon! PS Make sure you check the timetable for open hours, because it is... More

Great place to have a browse. No one every told us though that the stalls we visited on a Tuesday were in a different location on a Thursday -- exceptionally confusing. During the summer on a Wednesday the market becomes a foodie emporium - absolutely brilliant. Great atmosphere for families as well. Visiting there a few times has even made... More

On Wednesday night the market opens for night market (it's closed during the day). Definitely worth a trip if you are in Melbourne on a Wednesday evening. The market had an amazing amount of food and drink vendors. We bought from 4 different vendors and they were all good! Besides food there were vendors selling all types of items. Good... More

If you're in Melbourne on a Wednesday night, head for these markets. It's all about food! There seemed to be every nationality in the universe on show all vying to tempt your tastebuds. So many choices! You will struggle to sample everything that takes your fancy. They're quick, they're cheap and they're tasty. So much opportunity to be adventurous. Nothing... More

Not so much a market more an evening out. As well as your usual clothes stools, there are food stools from all around the world. There are also massage and health stools. A lot of parking but can take a while to park due to the amount of people.

As tourists, we (me and dad) stayed at a hotel nearby, we went to the Wednesday Night Market and we bought our fruits and veggie before we fly home. Recommended to tourists to the Wednesday Night Market as a wide range of food from different nationalities and there are street performances there which make the night fun and enjoyable!

IN previous holidays we have been pleased to go to the QV markets ,even to take in the atmosphere, but this trip ,we left without that WOW feeling !! A lot of stalls were vacant , there were heaps of fruit stalls .

There are rockstar ques here for the ATM, best to get money out before. Food stalls lined up inside and out, with a lot of meat heavy options. Expect Pinoy (Filipino) BBQ, african jerky, paella, sri lankan street food. The few vegetarian options include a popular Italian pizza place ($10), gozleme and Wonderbao. I'd already had Wonderbao, so decided on... More
