This fish and chip shop is more than fish and chips - it is a delight to eat. A flavour explosion. The seasoning used was like no other. The service was tip top and food is reasonably priced. Fish is all Australian. On top of all that, the shop is kept immaculate. I will return!

They have fresh fish & salads on display, I had the fish of the day, rockling, with coleslaw, this slaw, had a delicious sweet dressing, chips, it was served with a slice of lemon and tartar sauce. I also had a glass of Sav Blanc. They had other wine & beer available. We sat out side in the sun and... More

While holidaying in Melbourne with friends we decided to have an easy lunch and stopped in at Tank Fish & Chippery and it was amazing! Eight meals were ordered and eight meals were very much enjoyed! The calamari & fish were cooked to perfection and the chips were seasoned beautifully. If you're in the area...do yourself a favour!!

Had lunch with the family here after some locals recommended the place. Hands down, best fish and chips I've ever eaten! The fish, calamari and chips were all seasoned, it was delicious mate. I would be a regular customer if I lived in Melbourne :)

Was wondering up Lygon Street trying to decide on an Italian restaurant (being hassled by restraunteers 'my mama makes the pasta' and 'I give you free wine!' trying to secure our business). After a long walk my partner says to me, 'I actually really just feel like that fish and chip shop back there'. Sounds good to me! Much to... More

Great fish and chippery as they call themselves. Ask for the grilled fish as then you can really appreciate how fresh it is. Nice place to relax on Lygon Street and watch the world passing as you read the paper and enjoy your fish and chips!

There's not a lot one can say about fish and chips really but this is a great little spot The fish of the day, Blue Grenadier was light and tasty, with a lovely beer batter. I'd definitely go back. Cheap and cheerful too!

Loved every bite! Fresh, tasty & satisfying! Whatever is sprinkled on the chips created a taste bud disco! Service was great. Very helpful. Delicious fish and chips with a dash of fancy! Mwah!

First of all the fish and chips would be the best I have ever had - thus far. I regularly buy the fisherman's basket (around $10), which comes with two perfectly cooked pieces of fish and the most cruchy and perfectly seasoned chips you could ever ask for. All their fish and ingredients are freshly sourced, offering a large variety... More
