Good coffee, good service, good environment, good people, good food, good location....thats nothing bad about it !!! Just one bad thing is wait for an entire hour for it. Its worth it, but can't do that too much.

Searched hight and low and finally found this place hidden in a small alley way. Lovely breakfast. Find it and try it out for yourself

On our 5 days in Melbourne, this is definitely the best brunch in this trip. My partner and I have waited for 30 mins, but it is worth the wait!! I'll say it a bit crowed and cosy, but i love it. My scrambled eggs with salmon was good, the hot chocolate was yum, staff were amazing. Would highly recommend... More

I am amazed that I didn't have to queue up to get in but we were early on a weekday. I had the eggs and pork belly on polenta cakes which was amazing. The portion was enormous and could have been a lunch more than breakfast item. Everything coining out of the kitchen looked great and lots of nice touches... More

I went to Hardware Société on a Sunday morning. There was a long queue and I had to wait for ~45min before getting a seat. However the savoury special I ordered was well worth the wait. The sauce was uniquely tasty and the poached eggs were cooked just right. Highly recommended if are willing to wait.

Loved the experience of a funky popular cafe with amazing creations on the menu. Our hot chocolates were what I would call fancy, thick ganache in a cup, with hot milk in a tiny jug to pour into the cup. Loved the French Toast Brioche with rhubarb, topped with meringue pieces. The taste was incredible. The experience was great; the... More

We went here for breakfast and were seated without a wait although we were asked to share a table with another couple (which was fine) the service was prompt and we got our coffee and food reasonably quickly. The coffees are served with a little cinnamon doughnut ball which is a bit cute, however the coffee was just okay, they... More

This was our last breakfast in Melbourne, and a good one to end the holiday with! It was awesome, something different from all breakfast sets in Singapore. Our favourite was the scrambled eggs with trout, or you can try the baked eggs or banana loaf! The place was warm and cosy, homemade jam was good, and there were even newspapers... More

Okay, so people sometimes get frustrated having to wait for a table, but remember there's only a wait because its good, people don' queue for average food. Service is efficient but nice, food is exceptional and there is a good range of vegetarian as well as meat options. You may be seated at your own table or a share table... More

The queue is usually long here and the wait is about 15 minutes to 30 minutes. However, the moment that scrambled eggs reaches your table, you know that it is worth the wait. Everything else on the menu is also yummy!
