After reading great reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to give this place a shot. And we're glad we did. Started off with whisky sours which were fantastic. Followed by delicious blue cheese and mushroom croquettes and lamb skewers. Andy and Evea were extremely warm and pleasant ( even gave us some cpmplimentary sherry to try with the the dessert!)... We went to this restaurant for supper one night and it was excellent. The tapas were very flavorful and each had its distinct taste. The food was wonderful and the service was very good!

We wanted to eat here on a previous visit to Melbourne but it was closed, when we returned again we were looking forward to giving it a try. There are limited times when you can book, but we decided to book an early table to avoid disappointment turning up later on. Service started off well, but declined as the meal... More

Great tapas and paella. Located just a little off the beaten path, down an alley. Warm, welcoming service.

As CBD residents, we dine out a lot and like to use our locals, unfortunately not again with this restaurant after two disappointing approaches. Firstly we booked for 8.30 pm on a Monday evening, and arrived at 8.10pm, thinking that we could maybe, just maybe, have a drink at the bar? This was not to be the case with the... More

Having messed up our reservation once, we were seated and the issue of a dietary restriction came up. To cut a long story short, there was something almost comic about the restaurant manager who stormed off to the chef, came back, and responded to the request by pointing at a bottle asking, 'how can you drink this then'?. The answer... More

When you get a menu that is stained and torn. it is the first clue the eye for detail is slipping. When they first opened there was such energy in the kitchen you could see the fresh ideas and the novel presentation. now you have chefs just turning it out. it isn't the same place. we came everytime we visited... Loved the food, we didn't book and they were very accommodating. Chef prepared a complimentary new dish, king prawns on delightful salad. Look for them on Warburton Lane, worth walking to.

I was recommended this restaurant by friends who raved about Portello Rosso, I also read the reviews, it sounded great so I made a reservation. We selected the Chef's selection at $55 a head, not a lot of food, and what is so special about it? Maybe the Chef had made a lousy selection that night. I've never heard of a... More

Went here on a date and wow what a gem. Every dish came out more delicious than the last, the service was quite good, great ambience. Make sure you make a reservation as this place fills up!
