Great Tapas

We were seated upstairs which was nice if not a little cramped (to be expected in melbourne these days), our waitress was very friendly and explained the menu well. We ordered the Blue Cheese & Mushroom Croquette, Prawns, Corn & Zucchini Fritters (2), Pork Belly (3), Crispy Duck Leg & Beef... read more

We really wanted tapas for dinner and always find the laneways for a meal are always good. We booked an early dinner, and was seated upstairs where a lovely Spanish waitress was taking care of us. She was very knowledgeable about the beer and wine to recommend with our dishes and tastes. We ordered a couple of tapas thinking that... More

Groovy looking place, practically empty when we arrived, was therefore surprised to be seated upstairs in a totally secluded corner. Staff were lovely and chatty and explained menu well. The sangria tasted very watered down, hardly any flavour. Specifically asked for nothing to be brought with raw onion - unfortunately after being assured that they will adjust all the dishes,... I will start by saying I will definitely be back based on the food, but..... As with other reviews, don't dare turn up a few minutes before 6pm. The woman who greeted us couldn't shuffle us quickly enough up stairs to the bar and it was literally 5.57pm. We were seated in the coldest dingiest corner near the stairs upstairs.... More

We were very disappointed with the portion sizes at this place- specially for the price we paid...just a warning to other people - all the prices were for individual portions which usually meant one piece of something...we've been to lots of Tapas places before but the portions were never this tiny...the paellas (which can only be ordered for a minimum... My colleagues took me here for my birthday and it was really amazing. The lunch banquet was great, the food was so incredibly tasty, and the atmosphere was really lovely. I want to go back. It is definitely a special occasion place as fas as I am concerned, but the lunch deal makes it that little bit more accessible.

Slow service which was annoying Either leave wine on the table or fill glasses up regularly We retrieved our wine from the counter and served ourselves Food was good but not excellent Enjoyed jamon platter Had better paella It was cold inside even after I shut one door left open by staff

I had a lovely early sitting on a Saturday with a friend. We shared a litre of sangria, tapas and desserts. I recommend the terrine and the churros. The red Sangria was very good, not too heavy or spicy. The service was friendly too. Definitely going back.

We had been wanting to go to the restaurant for a while. Afterwards felt quite disappointed. The portions for the price/quality was crazily high. Pork belly was really really salty, the paella had what seemed to be just chunks of leftover meat in it, the mussels were pretty flavourless and more on the cold side. Service was nothing great with... More

Excellent meal with share plates followed by the wonderful paella to finish. Service friendly and attentive. A very pleasant evening for all.
