Came here with a group of people, missed breakfast (sounds like that might be what's best) so we had a few dishes off the lunch menu. Seemed a bit overpriced and tasted fairly average, also a limited menu but I'd expect that from a small lane way restaurant. Service was average. They forgot about our coffees. Nice lane way vibe... We found this place down a busy side street full of colourful and interesting places to eat. We had breakfast, I had the porridge and fruit which was excellent. Coffee was great and service and price were fab. Worth visiting anytime of the day.

Visiting Melbourne, have eaten out lots, the atmosphere is where this place nails it! Very European. Great food & coffee.

You should definitely stop in this charming Portuguese restaurant. The today specials were amazing, and the service was really good.

Visiting melbourne for work, I looked for a good spot for breakfast - I enjoyed it so much here I came back the next two mornings and had the same food each time - the porridge with cinnamon and fruit was just delicious. The coffees were good and the service fast, efficient and friendly with welcoming smiles. I could happily... More

First day in Melbourne and loved the atmosphere of the lanes. Sitting outside this small family style restaurant with one Spanish & one Portuguese chef watching the world go by was marvellous.. We thoroughly appreciated the excellent young waiter who took the time to describe the unusuall dishes on offer in details and helped us make good choices - The... More

Husband got really good paella and I had some nice kingfish with salad. Some of the flavours in the salad were a bit poorly paired - so it was tasty but not as well married together as I might prefer. Still very tasty though, and really good service, prompt and friendly.

A great spot in the bustling Degraves St Laneways, with a Spanish Twist. Perfect for some late Desayuno or for Viendo el mundo pasar ...watching the world go by. This place is popular, and very busy. There's a hive of activity downstairs and upstairs, but we found some seating along the stools by the window, so we could view the... More

This was a great little find on our recent trip to Melbourne. Great casual atmosphere and excellent tapas....yummy. The French waiter was excellent and we enjoyed a chat with him about his and our travels. Highly recommended, great value for money and excellent food.

I popped in to Lorca mid morning on a weekday when I had an hour to kill waiting for an appointment. Hadn't had breakfast so I had a hot chocolate and chose the french toast with cinnamon and pear. The hot chocolate was good. The toast was lovely but slightly bland. The pear was cold which was a surprise, I... More
