In a nutshell - Mamasita rocks What food to eat - anything. Everything I tried is good. Their corn on the cob is particularly spectacular. What to drink - Never seen anything like Mamasita's tequila list. I'm a tequila fan, and I did not know over half the menu. My advice is to work your way through it starting at... More

What a cool, relaxed grazing lunch we had. Caught up with a few friends who were over from Perth and we met here at my recommendation after researching trip advisor. We weren't disappointed! The waiter we were fortunate to look after us, gave us such a brilliant run down on the food, made suggestions as to what to order and... More

Our food was excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great. Quite a wait to get a seat but was worth it

Interesting tasty menu. Funky interior. Trendy in a good way clientele Very busy so get there early as you Q down the stairs. Good wine selection or Sangria. Friendly staff who are happy to explain and suggest from the menu. Well worth a visit.

Good solid food and is very popular with the local office crowd. No bookings taken so either come really early or really late to get a place otherwise you will need to wait hours for a table. The tacos were great and drinks too but there's a few things which aren't so good like the tamale. Worth a visit if... More

Won't take bookings, tell you to come 15 minutes before you want to be seated then tell you the earliest table is in 45 minutes. Disorganised, waste of time. Don't bother.

Went with my daughter and son, the waitress who served us was so polite and friendly. Since it was our first time there, she gave us a commentary on the menu and because of her, we were able to order food that we like. Loved the bite size tortillas, nachos etc etc. However being in my sixties, did not like... More

If fresh, authentic Mexican is what you're seeking, at the Paris-end of Melbourne than this is it. Small seating area, perfect for a boozey lunch or you'll be waiting down the stairs for a table. I recommend almost anything on the menu, from booze to food, Mamasita has it down to a tee. recommend do not pass go, for the... More

We went here for lunch on a Saturday and we had to line up out the front as the place is popular. Upon walking the stairs to be seated we are greated by a heavily tattooed girl who was by far the rudest waitress ive met. Ok we didn't book thats our fault but after being read the riot act... More
