$9 for 3 churros! I was hoping for something amazing for that type of money, not the ok ones that were served out. I was hoping for something piping hot and soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. Just like those ones at the Victoria Markets.

This place is overall fairly average and tends to be mildly hit or mildly miss. The ice-cream is quite nice but sometimes they can be very stingy. Their other deserts are just ok. Have a hot chocolate if you do decide to go because they are decent. Go if you want, but don't expect anything special.

My family loves going to San Churro but we always have to make sure we haven't eaten too much before hand because it is very filling. The hot chocolates are too rich for me, but the husband and kids love them. We all enjoy the churro a however - especially with melted dark chocolate.

Absolutely the slowest, poorest service you will find anywhere. Last night we waited over 20 minutes for a take away coffee, milkshake and danish. 20 minutes! There was hardly anyone in there. We are not impatient people and work in the service industry too, so we try not to have too much of a go or ever get upset. But... More

A chocolate lovers dream. The hot choc drink is made with their finest belguim choc, with extra drizzled down the inside of the glass mug, ummmm heaven.

This is regular for me after a dinner on Brunswick Street. I usually go with friends, so we always get a share platter. Found a 2 for 1 Entertainment voucher in my purse on my most recent visit there, so we really enjoyed it. Don't like the caramel dipping sauce as much as the dark, milk and white chocolate ones.... If you like hot chocolate and sweets, this is a must stop for foodies on holiday in Melbourne. I am a particular fan of "spicy" hot chocolate (Aztec Hot Chocolate on their menu) and wow the one I got from San Churro's was one of the best I've ever had! Rich, creamy, and the perfect kind of hot chilli. And... More

Just like the rest sadly. Tip to the baristas there also. Try using a thermometer when steaming on an espresso machine and you won't burn the milk or commercially made, cornstarch laden pulp which you call hot chocolate. Some of the staff were nice, some were pathetic! Add this one to the never again pile of endless boutique, fake, chain... More

Love churros and with dipping sauce that includes ice cream oohh.. it's good... They need to do more with their drinks to compliment the churros. The drink menu is terrible and they're not good.

We visited San Churros in both Carlton and St Kilda. It was good to see the churros made to order, and brought to the table fresh, hot and crispy, with a deliciously soft inside. We had a white chocolate and a milk chocolate dipping sauce, and gorged ourselves on Spanish deliciousness. The classic hot chocolate is also good, although combined... More
