Loved this place for a quick stop and snack. Service is fast. Menu short. Food delicious! Not many vego options, but what they have is delicious. Will be coming back.

Very friendly and helpful staff being able to give good advice on the food and wine. An amazing selection of dishes, the scollops delicious as was the calamari. A wide selection of Spanish wines though somewhat on the expensive side. A relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The main restaurant MoVida was very busy so we went Next Door - glad we... More

Neither of us was overly hungry so our relatively sparse selection of plates kicked off with a tapa that’s very similar to the one I tried at the Sydney MoVida outpost many months ago. In place of the small quenelle of smoked tomato sorbet I tried in Sydney, it was a piped streak of gazpacho jelly that joined goat curd,... More

Nice wines selection with many Spanish wines to choose from. Food was very nice - macego cheese, asparagus with jamon and cooked egg, grilled chicken skewer, lightly battered sardines on a pickle, mussels and grilled lamb cutlet with pickled onion. Plates all good sizes for sharing. Lamb, mussels and sardines were highlights. Staff are very helpful and attentive in sorting... More

Not the first time that we visited this delightful eatery. Styled on classic tapas bars you have to dig deep to find in Spain. many try and fail with tapas but MoVida has got it just right. The lad charged with controlling the hoards who wish to be seated does a great job, unlike many in the same position he... More

Lunch is the best at MoVinda Next Door. They are constantly updating their menu because they use such wonderful fresh ingredience, you'll be hard pressed to find such inventive food and can't go wrong here. I love sitting up at the bar with a friend and ordering a wide variety of tapas as you go. This can take a while... More

For a taste of the MoVida kitchen at a more informal pace and cost, try MoVida Next Door. Prop yourself up at the bar for a couple of tapas plates and a glass of Rioja before a show at The Forum. Yummy croquettes and jamon and all the Spanish favourites.

Went here on a friends recommendation, it very much lived up to the expectation. Intimate area with lots of people, definitely a social place. Food was great and full of flavour. Great for a catch up with friends for a few drinks and some tapas on the side.

Movida Next Door is a little sister to the renowned Movida Restaurant in Melbourne. It is always crowded, buzzy and noisy - in a nice way. The food is what you would expect from a Frank Cammora restaurant. Simple but clever tapas/pinchos from a tiny open kitchen and some of the best, freshly shucked oysters I have had in a... More

The foods great. Reasonably priced alcohol. Good service. It's best to get there a bit out of normal eating times. A great sharing experience.
