Good little bar, great atmosphere (be prepared to sit next to strangers) but the menu was disappointing. Very expensive for small plates of food and limited choices if you're vegetarian or don't like fish. Overrated.

Well worth the wait every time we visit. Love the food but also the staff they are so helpful and friendly and make us feel welcome. As close to Spain as we can get in Melbourne - enjoy!

Super crowded with a great city bar buzz, Movida Next Door is definitely worth a visit. It's a little on the pricey side so if you arrive really hungry you could end up spending quite a lot. The tapas portions are really beautiful but small so the temptation is there to just keep ordering. Yummy food. Good wine list but... More

We loved the atmosphere (I went to the main restaurant too and I am convinced that downstairs was more fun) and super-fresh seafood. All perfectly executed and just-right attentive service. Truly better than any San Sebastian tapas bar I have visited.

This place just hums! We dined late afternoon ahead of a concert and there was never a table empty for more than two minutes, so prepare to have a drink and a wait. But it is worth it - great food, fun décor and buzzing atmosphere. We never waited long for food or drinks and I loved being perched up... More

On a business trip to Australia, I spent a lone Sunday night in Melbourne whilst my (Aus) colleague met up with her soon-to-be married cousin for dress-talk. Armed with the knowledge that I was in the country's 'restaurant capital' but where most in that industry have Sunday evenings off, I set my course along the Yarra River in search of... More
