Absolutely fantastic place

This place is a must try it's absolutely beautiful and in a great central location with great service. We had the $69pp banquet and there was absolutely plenty for four of us. The food was exceptional with a great variety. And tge service was brilliant.

I am a regular traveller to Asia so I love my Asian food. Red Spice Road certainly delivers on flavour. The food was quality and tasted great but the service was the real stand out for me, nothing was too much trouble. Each and every wait person bent over backward for us. Initially I thought that the restaurant was a... More

Great setting for a casual dining experience. Share table concept and there are big and small parties. Pork belly, slow cook lamb and ox cheek are their signature dishes and they are well presented and food well seasoned. Overall great dining experience, would definitely go again.

The menu descriptions do not do justice to the flavours in these delicious meals. The corn fritters were fabulous. The balance of herbs and spices through the baramundi and banana blossom salad were great. The meals were also sufficiently generous and therefore reasonably priced. At $36 a share plate the meal could add up quickly but these are large share... More

In town on business, from Brisbane, with a night free. Where to eat? What about The Red Spice Road? Best decision ever - this restaurant is known for it's Pork Belly, and it did not disappoint. The rich, crispy, caramelised skin with the dark vinegar. The heat from the chilli and the pungent vietnamese mint & coriander, mixed with a... More

I had read on Trip Advisor how amazing the pork belly was and I wasn't disappointed. We had the express lunch menu and it was just divine. Amazing flavors, fast and extra friendly service. The wait staff don't hover...they serve you with a smile and leave you to enjoy your meal. Will definitely go again the next time we're in... More

Had wanted to try this restaurant for a long time. Especially after dining at burma lane last year. Burma lane was stunning, unique and extraordinary. RSR in comparison was overpriced and the food was good, but not unforgettable. Shared tables was a turnoff. And very noisy. The betel leaf entree was the highlight of the meal, however very pricey at... More

The dining experience at this restaurant is more about the prestige than the food. We were part of a party of 10 subject to the banquet. The restaurant was packed & a hive of late night large group activity. The food was ordinary & lack lustre, with a certain homogenous quality.Very disappointing at $80 per head. No spectacular flavours &... More

I at at Red Spice Road for the first time on Wednesday night after hearing some great feed back form business colleagues. We had the private room and entertained 30 guests. The food was spectacular and the wine selected for our set course menu was also top notch! From the lane it looks quite small but once inside I can't... More
