This was the 2nd time we went to Red Spice Road and it was just as good. The pork belly was excellent and I would have it every night if I could. The rabbit stir fry, goat curry and shredded chicken salad were also hits. The beef cheeks were good but not as much as a hit. They have changed... More

The wait staff were rude, no explanation of dishes, ribs were cold and overall the experience was a disappointment. Don't go out of your way for this over-rated restaurant. There are plenty of other great places.

Went out after work with colleagues/friends with no expectations. Wow. The food was amazing! Chose not to do the banquette, instead we each ordered and shared a dish. In hindsight, as each dish was so well constructed, would like to taste every dish on the menu. (Hope you know what I mean..) Now feel like I've probably missed eating a... More

I visited Red Spice Road with a group of people for a business dinner. The dining room is on 2 levels with the upper level set out with very long rows of tables. We had a selection of starters and all were very good but on the small side. We were told the mains were very big and made for... More

Really enjoyable asian fusion food. The reviews that talk up the pork belly weren't lying, this is definitely worth getting. Prices were totally reasonable with mains $35-$40 and a main each totally satisfying the two of us. Wine list was a bit thin and other drinks seemed pretty pricey though. Overall the service was good and food out very quickly,... More

Had a business lunch here. Best part is the ambience with its bold gigantic lantern, and curved elevated communal tables overlooking an internal courtyard. Found the food not authentic but passable. Portions were generous, and service quick. Good place for a quick lunch in the city

This is another modern noisy in your face restaurant and I would say not for a first date, but rather for sharing food with friends/family, but bring your outside voices so you can be heard. The share tables were not an issue but hearing your party talk wasnt easy and choosing what to order was a bit of a task.... More

Booked for our Wedding anniversary & night with friends interstate. After getting a title lost, found the restaurant and it was packed to the rafters, but our table was ready. Attentive service my a fellow Englishman, who recommended dishes and kept the drinks flowing! My massaman curry was amazing and the mistake of omitting the chicken was quickly rectified. Pork... Went for dinner with a group of 4 people, best pork belly I've had in a while - Absolutely superb! I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't been.
