Almost a carbon copy of Longrain, which is no bad thing. We ate there twice in a weekend, both times receiving decent food, efficient service in a relatively good atmosphere. I don't think it's going to set your culinary world on fire, but at the same time it seems like a safe option. We ordered the banquet and didn't receive... More

Attended a Farewell Dinner with a group of workmates & really enjoyed the experience. We dined early & chose the banquet which included several delicious Thai dishes...Pork Belly, Larb Gai, Thai Green Chicken Curry to name a few. Everything served was fresh, well balanced & the servings substantial for $35 per head (not including drinks). The atmosphere was comfortable &... More

I've enjoyed much better, much more exquisite Asian fusion in other restaurants. Perhaps my taste buds were coloured by the disgustingly rude, arrogant, bullying behaviour of 'the boss' towards one of my guests, a delightfully sweet young Indigenous lady visiting from Central Australia. Three other young Indigenous visitors were also present. The seating, jammed in as I was by the... More

I loved the food here fresh flavours and great combinations we chose to shared the mains from the al a carte menu, the highlight dish for us was the crispy duck legs with pancakes ( I would go back just for this dish), there are also a number of other dishes I would love to try. The seating is interesting... More

I have been a fan of Red since it opened and every time I have eaten there there they haven't let me down. Their lunch menu is value for money and if you want to catchup with friends after work you can have a drink at the bar before enjoying their fabulous food

Went there on a Saturday night with a group of friends. Nicely decorated restaurant, it is massive in size. All dishes we ordered were simply great. Our waiter was so friendly and fun that it did not really matter that it took ages till we got drinks and food. We all had a great night.

Shared to banquet with a group of a dozen friends and everyone was rapt. Loved the ribs and scallops, and while a desert of Pandan Cream with Peanut Praline, Puffed Rice, Coconut Gel and Coconut Ice Cream might sound busy it was superb. Service was a bit pushy and dismissive though.

Highly recommend for lunch especially the set banquet which for $27 per person consisted of one entree and 3 mains . The only down side comments are the tables are huge share seating takes some getting use to and the staff except for one waitress might as well been cyborg robots nil personality and not welcoming.

I have been to red spice rd many times, and love it every time! It's probably my favourite restaurant in melbourne - each dish is consistently delicious.. Get the banquet, you'll definitely not go home hungry and it's worth it.. Yum!

A fabulous place to share delicious Asian fusion morsels. This is not an intimate venue, rather a place to enjoy great food , a great bar, and a party of noisy friends. McKillop street, a lane way made famous by the iconic jeweller Kozminsky, is the home of an eclectic mix of eateries, and is headlined by Red SpiceRoad. Get there... More
