Thank you Degraves for the best breakfast, we stumbled on your place on a Sunday morning which was bustling and great for people watching. Staff are attentive food and coffee are fabulous and all served quickly. You can always judge a good cafe by how many people are queuing for a seat!

Dropped in for a late lunch, to find breakfast still being served as it was a Saturday. Ordered coffee and a chai latte and was pleasantly surprised to get chai tea with warm milk. Breakfast bruschetta was a real hit and big brekkie went down a treat with my husband. Wish I could go weekly!

Kind and caring servers, but they are all working quite hard to take care of business, so don't expect a lot of their time. Good food and fun space on a very interesting street. Good stop for lunch but it is a busy and noisy place.

You cannot visit Melbourne and NOT go to Desgraves Street! This Espresso Bar was great for a morning coffee and croissant to fill us up before the exploring kicked off!

found the group of restaurants on this back street by chance and what a gem, a stones throw from the Fed square and station, had the 3 Tapas for $34, the guy said this will be enough for 2 people and he was right. chose the stuffed squid, meatballs in sauce and chiritzo , all washed down with Italian wine.... This was my first experience of the famous Melbourne coffee. The laneway setting is the main attraction. A fantastic place to sit an absorb the atmosphere. Such a buzz to this place!
