Truly the best hot chocolate I have ever had anywhere apart from the nearby Koko Black. It was pure indulgence. Friendly service, not too busy atmosphere, comfy couch to sit on. It was just bliss. Want to try one of their desserts some time. Also they have just opened a store in the brand new Emporium Melbourne. Wish these people... More

Where do I begin to describe this wonderful gem? I probably visit this place on a weekly basis simply for their wonderful milk hot chocolate. Always recommended for anyone that appreciates chocolate.

We ordered the dark and milk hot chocolate. The milk hot chocolate was too rich.. to the point I had to mix it with water. The dark hc was alright.

I absolutely love the chocolate pavlova here. It's simply the BEST in Melbourne, dare I say the whole of Australia. I love that it's always baked fresh. I've also bought the chocolates as a souvenir and received rave reviews about it. Will always return!

We stumbled across this hidden gem several years ago, and since then we (my wife and 2 young adult daughters) have always had a dessert and drink from Chokolait whenever we come into the city. For the health conscious the Fondue, which is made with the freshest fruit, is an excellent option. For me I always have the Mousse or... More

We stopped here for a hot chocolate and to sample their chocolates as well. Teens and adults voted this best or equal best to any other chocolate cafes we tried in Melbourne.

We had a lovely drink here, but very awkward and tacky table settings. Didn't want to sit outside in the arcade either. Later we walked around the new shopping centre Emporium and they opened up another cafe there, which will be much better. Lovely thick hot chocolate though!

Partner and I went for afternoon tea one day, shared a hot chocolate and piece of cake, both lovely but very rich. A little expensive but worth the experience.

This place is tucked below one of the laneways and isn't particularly amazing to look at, but the hot chocolate here is probably the best i've ever had. They have many flavour options and all are made with high quality real melted chocolate. I had the jaffa and my husband had the milk - both equally rich and decadent -... More

It was truly to die for. It puts Lindt Cafe, Max Brenner, San Churro and all the other chocolate places to shame. The hot chocolate was amazing as was their signature chocolate pavlova, pavlova with melted chocolate in between topped with double cream and fresh strawberries. Mmmmm would fly to Melbourne for that alone.
