This is a great little restaurant located in Melbourne's lane ways where you can sit and soak up the atmosphere! The tapas were delicious and the service friendly. We had the prawns with apple cider and chorizo, the lamb shank arancini balls and the pork belly.....yum! Just what was required!

Planned a nice lunch in Melbourne and after looking at a number of places decided on La Citta. We had been in the same street in March so had eaten elsewhere before. Was rather let down with a rare requested steak coming as medium - sent back and they reluctantly agreed to replace so started eating my main course well... More

I regularly go to La Citta on my way to work every morning and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Diligence is a top priority of everyone there. Food, coffee always served with a smile. Opera as background music just tops off a perfect morning.

Breakfast was very average. Coffee was barely drinkable. Nice atmosphere though. Probably better for a drink rather than breakfast.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal here before so we were excited to take our friends there to try it out. We weren't disappointed. Great antipasto platter and king prawns with chorizo for entree. All delicious. Mains were spinach and potato gnocchi with ragu; salmon, and calamari with rocket salad. I don't normally eat pasta type dishes when... More

Ate at this restaurant in Degraves St on my first night in Melbourne and was very impressed. There was a nice ambient atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was lovely. I had the Seafood Linguine which was delicious, although it could have been a little bit hotter when it was served.

No complaints here! Service - 100% Food - 100% Drinks - 100% My partner and I can be harsh at times but as we finished our dessert, we tried to find a fault in any thing about out night., and we failed. Eveything was perfect.

We always visit La Citta when in Melbourne from interstate but this time we were disappointed in the ordinariness of the cuisine. Rabbit Papperdelle was tough little bits of meat in soft pasta ribbons with little flavour. Gnocchi also was lacking in any flavour. Service was amazing, atmosphere still cosy and Ro a tic, wi e list extensive and excellent... More
