Went here with friends for lunch and the menu was VERY pricey for what you get. The food was okay, but probably not worth the price. And the portion sizes were tiny. The setting was lovely though and the service was good.

A perfect spot for a sneaky lunch-time drink & very tasty meal, followed by impeccable coffee & cake. Seats out in sun or by window to suss out the action in Salamanca Place are recommended! Waitresses very friendly & helpful. We look forward to returning!

Decor, food and service good. Only negative is beers very expensive! They are very happy for plates to be shared and atmosphere is fun and young. We would definitely go again despite us being in late forties!

Cannot fault food great, wine amazing, only down side was seating, if we had booked would have been spectacular.

Smolt came highly recommended and did not disappoint. To avoid food envy we (5) were reduced to trying everyone else's food as it was all so well executed. Every entree and main was excellent. Perhaps the roasted vegetable entree was the winner, but the chicken was amazing too. Desert was OK, perhaps not as fantastic as the mains, but the... More

I travel a lot for business and am often posting on social media all of the fantastic meals I have when interstate. On my most recent trip the highlight was my experience at Smolt. The Tasmanian venision was absolutely delicious, coupled with the seasonal puree, quinoa and salad. The staff were attentive and overall the experience was exceptional. Highly recommend!

We ate here on a Friday night. The staff and atmosphere were nice and inviting. Modern vibe, comfortable seating. The food and wine was very pricey- which is fine if it's backed by taste and flavour. Mains averaged at $35, and above (pizzas were cheaper) again fine but a few of the dishes had a random addition of quinoa. Some... More

Have dined here 10+ times and the food and service are always good. If you have dietary restrictions, the chefs are wonderfully accommodating - they rise to the challenge with grace, flexibility and imagination every time. Highly recommended.

Nice pancakes for breakfast, but a little dry though. Service was good as was the coffee. Nicely located in Salamanca Place and easy to get to, with nice sun coming through the windows. Eggs were a bit average and they did not have any gluten free.

Booked for brekky here with a group of eight friends. Service was excellent, we were gretted in a really friendly manner, the table service was excellent and prompt and paying was quick and simple - separate bills for one table, love it. They couldn't make the coffee that I ordered so they recommended something similar, it was fantastic and it's... More
