Beautiful goat's cheese tart

Set in an attractive old building in Battery point. My goat's cheese tart with caramelised onion and sundried tomato was hot and delicious. The sweet pastries looked beautiful. Obviously very popular with locals

Always super busy for breakfast or lunch, this cafe never fails to impress. Whether you want a quick breakfast on the run, a lazy Sunday brunch or to meet family and friends for lunch, this cafe delivers on all fronts - even if you want to buy from the large range of breads and pastries to take away, you will... Everything looks incredible! I sampled the curried scallop pie and absolutely loved it. Nicest cooked scallops I've had in a pie. Well worth the visit.

Very impressed with the two vego meals we had at lunch. They were super busy but service was still great. Great place to eat in historic Battery Point.

Enjoyed breakfast on two occasions during our Hobart visit. The aroma drew us at first and then the lovely displays of fresh baked bread, pastries and vegetarian meals in an old world setting. A busy little set up, yet our food arrival was timely and the staff friendly whilst a little detached due to the number of people to serve.... More

Good coffee and breakfast early on Sunday morning. Was really glad to find it open in Battery Point early even on a Sunday. I had a couple of good coffees and an ok eggs Benedict. Service was friendly and efficient.

Visited for brunch after reading good reviews. Service not so good, the waitresses looked like they didn't want to be there, no smiles. Coffee was bland. Food was ok, croissant was very buttery and puffy, otherwise don't know what the hype was about

After having a couple of delicious pastries and baguettes at Daci and Daci, we decided to give Jackman and McCross a go as the reviews were so good. I wish we'd stuck with Daci and Daci. We ordered lunch of soup and a goats curd tart which took quite a while to arrive. The hostess was less than pleasant, probably... More

First visit was about 11am , it was busy. Ordered a plain croissant which was very good and a coffee which was adequate but the service was a bit slow. Next day went in at around 8 am , the service was better but the coffee was cold and with grounds and the muffin was blasted in a microwave into... More
