Service was super fast, but that's where the excitement ended. Garlic and chilli prawns where bland, calamari was not cooked well. The premises where nice but the food was not enjoyable enough to want to go back again.

A noisy busy restaurant that caters for families with an easy fish n chip style menu. There are some interesting tasty fish dishes for the adults and more adventurous kids and wine by the glass or bottle to accompany. A great icecream bar is a feature. Rooms are available for booking for a private function.

We initially went to this restaurant randomly and have kept coming back since. Although the price is a little more than I'm used to (~$28) a lot of people would say that's a steal...and they would be right! The quality of the fish dishes are great and I loved the selection of wine. The beauty of places in Tasmania is... More

After meaning to go back here for a while, my partner and I went here for dinner. I had the 'fish 349' which was the closest I could get to a fishermans basket. No tartare sauce, and all the food was insipid and tasted of deep fryer oil. The thai fish cakes were ok-ish, but I dare say the tastiest... More

We had an early dinner here, and were glad we did, for the food and for the timing - the place really filled up with people while were there. Service was quick and efficient. When I ordered two salmon dishes, the girl almost apologetically advised me that they would be a little undercooked in the middle - I told her... More

Great fish and chips dine in or takeaway. Good selection of icecreams also. Nice casual atmosphere to the dining areas. Very close to many other bars and restaurants.

We regularly eat at Fish 349 and find that the quality of the meals and delivery of service are always consistently excellent. It is a great family restaurant, on our latest visit the number of families with children was very evident but not in an obtrusive way. If you are looking for a really good fish meal in North Hobart... More

When previously in Hobart I'd dined on fish at waterfront restaurants in central Hobart. But reviews of this Restaurant were good and so we gave it a try. Our group of 3 weren't disappointed with an entree of a dozen natural Tasmanian oysters, the seafood platter for 2 and a grilled whole flounder. All were well presented, exquisitely fresh and... The food was of good quality at a decent price and of generous portions. This restaurant is much more casual than I imagined with some diners in their workout gear as if they just left the gym so in my dress and boots I felt a bit overdressed. Service was great, the waitress passed us a couple of times to... More

Went to Fish 349 with some friends, very nice place to eat in North Hobart. Cosy and friendly staff. The prices are very high for what is available. The fish and chips are good but so much more expensive than in the city. I would suggest that people walk the extra couple of block and head down to the docks... More
