It was a bit worried when I saw how young the man was making the coffees, but I needn't have worried. It was superb!

Lovely feel to this café in the Salamanca strip. Old sandstone style building adds to the busy but warm vibe here. Very good service and a lovely menu on offer. We had breakfast which was fresh and very tasty with great coffee. All meals at our table were large and well received by our party. Well worth a visit when... More

Nice place to visit for coffee and cake with good service before heading into the market crowd. The almond croissant was yum :)

Before you face the markets in Hobart, enjoy a hearty breakfast at Zum Café. Great service, friendly staff and delicious food makes this the best start to any day, especially market day.

Had date night with hubby so we went to Salamanca for a few drinks when we noticed our favourite brunch café open for Dinner. Everywhere was crowded but zum had about 20 people inside. The waitress said it was there first night open in a while. The dinner menu was different than the day with a few of the regular... More

Just returned from "dinner". Looks good but desultory service. A limited menu didn't inspire - very ho hum. Our shared starter of 3 squid rings each, contrary to advise it would be very filling wasn't at all sufficient. Our plates were whisked away with our mains about to be served we requested a pause. My salmon on asian noodle salad... More

Highly recommend the breakfast trifle. Yum! Coffee is good. Good variety on the menu. A nice place to sit and have a break over breakfast, on a Saturday morning, whilst checking out the Salamanca Markets.

Recommend as a good place for breakfast. Mix with the locals and visitors. Close to everything on the waterfront.

Very good breakfasts here, place is always busy so you can tell its popular. Good coffee and its location in Salamanca means you can go wandering the streets and waterfront nearby.

Had a brunch and breakfast on our weekend in Hobart here and found food to be delicious . Good range on the menu and reasonably priced. Coffee and chai latte both very nice. On our first visit for brunch the service was a little slow at around 11.30 am and the wrong dish was sent out for mine but quickly... More
