great for a delicious coffee, or always reliable for a tasty breakfast or lunch. The staff are always pleasant, and on a fine day its great to sit outside and watch the world go by in Salamanca place

Breakfast at 8.30am - very civilized. Seven friends had breakfast before exploring the Salamanca Markets. Good choice of dishes and wait staff were happy to add extras. Poached eggs did not disappoint - perfectly cooked (with runny yokes). Coffee was good too. Happy with out choice. Enjoy.

We were leaving Hobart on Sunday but wanted to have a quick bite and were enjoying the neighborhood and happened across this spot. We got a table, and literally within five minutes, there were people waiting for seats. I had a breakfast burrito, which was piping hot and delicious. My husband had the eggs Benedict, which he devoured. YUM!

The staff are really very obliging even when the place is packed. The mushroom and spinach omelette was not on the menu but when I spotted another diner having it the staff were more than happy to put in an order for me - and it absolutely wonderful with superb fresh ingredients - well done!.

Two visits over the Easter weekend - the second after trying a different breakfast spot and finding it wanting... The food at Zum is excellent: fresh, tasty and beautifully prepared. Coffee also very good and service excellent, particularly given the chaos and crowds of Salamanca markets on a Saturday morning. Highly recommended :)

Everytime I visit Hobart I eat here. The food is fantastic and the staff even better. Great variety of goodies to enjoy.

We arrived to Hobart on the first morning flight and by the time we got to the markets area we were very hungry! We found a nice little table and the girls were fun, easy and we got a very tasty breakie and good coffee. The breakfast burrito was super yummy, you have to try it. And the whole food... More

After doing a little bit of shopping at the Salamanca Market we decided that breakfast was in order so we tried Zum, we finally found a table and were attended to by a friendly waitress who said that there would be a approx. 20minute wait for food and coffees, this wasn't a problem. Our breakfast and coffees turned up within... More

Stopped in for a late lunch after a full morning at the markets. Wanted a decent meal, not necessarily cordon bleu. Exactly what we got. Soup-of-the-day was hot and filling and the spicy calamari was just that. Service was quick and efficient.

We stopped here for a quick breakfast during our stay in Hobart and were impressed with the friendly staff, trendy cafe decor and good range of food available on the menu. We both enjoyed our mediterranean-inspired breakfasts and appreciated that there was more than just the typical tried and tested breakfast fare on offer. Prices were reasonable and overall it...
