The buffet dinner is, well, beige. 2 roast options, no Asian or indian flavours, just bland bland bland. Apart from the salsa, not a single tomato in the buffet. Seafood bake was marked a vegetarian?? Bain-Marie beige should be the restaurants slogan. Imagine you're stuck in a time warp, eating at a Sizzler restaurant circa 1990, then make it blander.... The food and service were both pleasing, but the buffet style set out makes it very difficult for wheelchair-bound persons to get the food they want without assistance.

A group of us ate here on Thursday night for the $35 head buffet. There was a reasonable selection but the foods were tasteless. It was presented well but the hot food was only luke warm, the gravy bland & the salads were outdated & boring. The soggy cauliflower & cheese dish looked unappetising and people that had the roast... More

Everything we had for breakfast this morning was of good quality, eg lean bacon, perfectly cooked poached eggs. The grilled tomatoes tasted home grown. A good choice was available. Did not feel hungry for the rest of the day.

Buffet style meals with plenty of choice. We had breakfast on 2 mornings and we found it offered plenty of fresh fruit etc. as well as various yogurts, cereals and cooked food to suit a variety of visitors. Evening dinner looked to be very, very busy with people queuing for their food but I didn't hear any complaints about the... More

My wife enjoyed her continental breakfast options whereas I didn't see many options for the cooked breakfast. Otherwise, the food was good.

Nice food, fresh buffet, great roasts. Not our first choice at Wrest Point but was ok... Will visit again.

Visited this venue on Australia Day with 6 other family members and was surprised by both the quality and service. Buffet style with choice of 3 hot meats, plus plenty of cold cuts, vegetables and salads. Lots of sweets choices.

Yea it was ok, not great, not bad but it was ok. Came down for the breakfast buffet and the food was normal buffet breakfast fare. Some of the bacon had been sitting a while and the eggs had seen better days but I guess if you go to a buffet its pretty much what to expect anyway. The toaster... More

As a buffet it was filled with reasonably good food! I'm no fan of the format but there were some good options, the food was made well and it had a good variety outside of the usual bag of deep fried junk you tend to encounter. Service was ordinary, but the budget pricing tended to let you know that was... More
