Standard has Dropped

Have visited many time in the past on visits to Tassy. On this occasion there were very few in the coffee shop and choices were limited where they use to be numerous. The lack of patronage would seem to confirm the standards have dropped.

The all you can eat menu is just perfect as you can choose what you want and there is such a varied selection. It;s nice that they seem to cater to all tastes.

The coffee shop is you best bet on getting an early breakfast if you are staying in the Wrest hotel. The restaurant area is as inspiring as the rest of the hotel and was probably a nice place many years ago. The food is average and uninspiring - I cannot see myself returning for any meal during the day.

Wonderful to have such a wide choice and be able to select exactly what you wish to eat. This is ideal for folk, such as myself, who have special dietary requirements. You do however have to watch when the bain marie is getting to low that your food is hot, it is often best to suggest they do a refill... More

Found it was very expensive for the small variety of food ... $34.50 for a basic roast and veggies .. Probably the smallest Buffett I've been to in awhile ..

1. The 'free meal' promotion took a lot of time and it was lucky the queue to be seated was short. I would hate to see a long line of diners. Staff were doing their very best to expedite it. Maybe a rethink needs to be done by the 'brains trust' 2. Have a look around the buffet, there is... More

Absolutely disgusting the food was bland and unappetising nothing christmas at all a few decorations doesn't make for Christmas in July. There wasn't anything suitable for the Kids to eat although charged $20..50 per child. Payment was up front before you ate I think that was because when you saw the food you couldn't walk out. A very disappointing night... More

We had dinner for the first time in 10 years. I was quit disappointed in quality of some food. Rice was actually from packet, it was not the real, just tasted like corn flour. Some of cakes were still flozen inside. Roast, salada and baked fish was ok though.
