Cozy restaurant. Absolutely loved our dinner there. The tandoori was amazing. And so was the kulfi dessert. The seating was a bit tight, so might be challenging if you have little kids.

The food here was really lovely. I was quite impressed at the falvours. The prices are a little high for the quantity of food you get, and the service was average (it was a while until someone came and took our order). It always looks closed from the outside. I would eat here again.

This used to be a great Indian place. The prices have increased by around 4$-$5 per main, and unfortunately, the quality has declined. The mixed vegetable curry (if you could it call it curry) used to be really nice, but this time was very disappointing as it was essentially water with curry powder and overcooked veggies. Additionally, it would be... More

This place is great, I had takeaway however, the inside looks quaint and the service was very pleasant. I had the chicken tikka which was fantastic just needed a little more yogurt. The vindaloo was ridiculously hot but advertised to be hot, just didn't expect it. The garlic nann was large and well flavoured. I recommend trying this Indian restaurant... More

A more 'high-end' place to go but well worth splurging for a night. The food was excellent, well prepared and presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. Yum!!

Unlike a lot of restaurants in Hobart this place is good value and unpretentious. Not flash by any means inside but the food is great. The prawn curry is one of the best I've tasted. Don't be fooled by the glam places by the water, theyre a rip off. Tandoor is the place to go for an honest feed.

I visited this place about 6 months ago (and again last night). Hands down the best indian food I've ever had. Great quirky decor, fantastic service, spectacular food. There was a large group of elderly Indian born people (all the ladies in saris) on a table near us. I figure if this is the place the expat Indians come to... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Indian cuisine is one of preferred eating options and the quality of our meals here did not disappoint. The menu was sufficiently varied and, refreshingly, the food was comprised of quality, healthy ingredients and not drowned in ghee etc. The service was excellent and our bill came to less than we're used to paying for... After spending a lot on meals elsewhere we were pleased by the quality and prices here. So much so we came back a second time. Their house wine is fine.
