After spending a lot on meals elsewhere we were pleased by the quality and prices here. So much so we came back a second time. Their house wine is fine.

Nothing disappointed in terms of the meal - simple style/presentation but prompt service. A quick recap of the meal: Appetizer: Samosas - Nicely browned, the yogurt mint sauce was wonderful and really completed the experience. Main: Chicken korma - very creamy, almonds added a nice touch, no coriander (a plus for me!)...literally the best I've had. Side: Multi-layed naan -... More

We were very happy with the meal here. The prices were very reasonable and the service was great. Can't ask for more than that!

I ate dinner here recently while staying in Hobart. It was a last minute choice after the pub I was going to eat in was booked out, however I was not disappointed. While the restaurant does not have much aesthetic appeal (inside or out) the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.

...and we had one of the banquet meals, tasted many dishes. Everything was REALLY GOOD. You can pick two meat, one seafood, one vegetable, etc. they were GREAT. Really great, different grades of hot, just as advertised on the menu. Restaurant was not crowded; unassuming place, just authentic. It was really a meal we won't forget!

I am a big fan of good Indian food and this excellent restaurant is up there with any I have been to in Australia and Asia. It has a cosy atmosphere, great service and the food is the best. It's hard to find a good cheap place to eat in Hobart so give this place a try and give the Lamb... More

I ate at the Tandoor & Curry House with my friends last Friday night. The service was prompt and friendly and the meal was great. The portions were generous and the bill was a pleasant surprise. We had the tandoori lamb cutlets as recommended by trip advisor. Awesome. I can also recommend the wholemeal paratha. A totally enjoyable meal. Well... More

The Chicken Makhan is sensational, could it be the best Butter Chicken ever? With Naan bread you have a wonderful meal. I also enjoy the mixed entree which has a sample of a few entrees. Meals are a good size you won't leave hungry and it's all reasonably priced. We recently had a work dinner here and no one was... More

My husband and I eat Indian food and cook Indian food a lot. We came here because it had good ratings on Trip Advisor. Let me start with the positive things. The service was very good. The naan bread was really good, too. The vegetarian curries we ordered, however, were all on the sour side for my taste, with a... More

Family run traditional Indian cuisine. Very tasty good service and great value. We had the lamb cutlets, tikka chicken, butter chicken and prawn korma. Butter naan was yum. Liked all our dishes. There was a large group next to us of Indian origin in traditional dress and the kids provided great entertainment.
