not bad can try

Poultry dishes @ $19.80, wanton soup @ $5 for 1 pax, tofu & mixed veg @ $16.50. Price considered reasonable for the quite generous serving. Ok to try if looking for chinese food. Owner is from Hong Kong.

Ate here tonight for a friends birthday. Generous servings. No complaints there were 20 of us. Service was great and the food wasn't rushed out which is defiantly a bonus. Would definitely eat here again.

We had a lovely tasty dinner here after a big day of touristy travel. Good food resonably priced. Reminded us of our favorite childhood chinese restaurants.

This is a good option if you are in this neighbourhood. The portions are large and well priced. The decoration could use an update but who cares when you gave delicious lemon duck

We popped in for a dinner after coming back from Port Arthur and were hoping to get a quick turn-around (probably spoiled by service in most spots in Springvale's restaurants back in Melbourne), but unfortunately the wontop soups came out only after about 10 minutes and it took another 45 to bring out a few simple dishes (black bean beef,... Traditional Chinese food with little imagination or flavours. So many great Chinese restaurants and this is not one of them. Try the Bund or Me Wah, both within a block or two of this old restaurant.

Sandy bay has some great Chinese restaurants, the one we usually go to was closed of a Sunday evening. I saw this old school place on our vacation walk around Sandy Bay and my girlfriend was in 2 minds as to whether we should go. I convinced her that these old school looking Chinese places are usually the best as... More

So nice to see a chinese restaurant that can cater for my no msg request, and be able to provide soda water, and help with other dietary issues - so I was delighted that I was able to be catered for. The rest of our group (the other 11 people) had a banquet which they thoroughly enjoyed it. it was... More

My third visit here in 12 years. Each time food has been great and good service. Nice plain but typical decor. Chinese tea great,( as some places give you green tea bag) . To my dissapointment they ran out of fried ice cream. Otherwise a good feed.
