Breakfast at Machine Laundry Cafe on a busy Salamanca Market Saturday for a family of 5. All enjoyed the various menu items selected and the friendliness of the staff. Well worth trying when in Hobart.

Got into Hobart late arvo. Four hungry adults disappointed to find the markets closing down. Stumbled on this cafe - life saver! Yummy food, great music and I believe working laundry?! Check this place out!

This is a great base for travellers to enjoy a generous filling healthy breakfast before a day of adventuring. For locals the all day breakfasts have all sorts of wins, with some great egg dishes with wonderful relishes. addictive French toast and large bowls of coffee. The young staff are gorgeous and welcoming. If you sit outside your children can... More

Quirky, colourful cafe serving great food and coffee. We had the Old New Egg dish with smoked salmon instead of pancetta, it was delicious and great coffee to boot...

One of the best dog-friendly places to eat (they have doggy-chinos), and best child-friendly cafe's (they have awesome baby-chinos). Food is always good and you are always going to get a great coffee here. This is also the only place I have been where you can get a hot-caramel - which is super sweet but amazing. Highly recommended - but... More

Went for breakfast yesterday, had the Old New Egg Dish with pancetta. Flavours didn't work for me (it was the beetroot relish I think), and I think bacon would have been a better accompaniment. Good coffee and service. The menu looked great, I just wish I'd ordered a different dish!

I brought my friends for breakfast. It was our first time of being there. Although the atmosphere inside is not perfect, the food looks great and tastes awesome!

You cannot go wrong with their french toast, possibly the best french toast I've ever had. Nice service, but it's very busy so good luck getting a table. The unique atmosphere is charming and the coffee is really, really good. A cup of coffee and some french toast at the machine laundry cafe is something I'd never turn down. Their... More

Fun, easy. One menu for all day. Coffee in a bowl!!!! Or a cup, if you're not into that sort of thing. The "old new egg dish" is just awesome. Perfectly scrambled egg, beetroot, pancetta, fetta.... awesome. Some unique ingredient combinations on the menu, but everything we have ever had there has been perfect. Can be hard to get a... More
