This was our first time at this restaurant and we are very glad that we made the choice. The seafood was very honest and very fresh. The service is excellent. Be sure to book if you want to go there as they were turning people away by the dozens the Sunday night we were there.

I had grilled fish, and my wife also. Others in the group had seafood platters, and complained nearly all the seafood batter was overcooked. Serve sizes very good, service excellent and friendly

Went with a family of 4 on a 7 day Tasmania trip. Delicious food in particular the Fish Stew. Very interesting decorations. Great service. Decided to go for round 2 before the end of the 7 day trip. Bookings recommended as they are packed!

This restaurant has a very interesting decoration and theme of a ship. Extremely cosy with great food. Love everything especially their seafood chowder. Portion of the meal is average.

The space it self... Is crowded, heavily decorated, wood sailor decorations. Very unique, slightly dimmed light. The food choice is amazing, had mix grill and hook line something. Both came with generous shoestring fries. Had also mermaid Mocktail - AMAZING strawberry like mint thingy. Service s excellent, patient, knowledgeable and lots of smile. Overall, great restaurants just by the water.

This is my third time at the Drunken Admiral. Wife and baby in tow this time. Had the bread loaf with garlic butter for starters (breath warning - still feeling the garlic effects the next morning). Shared between us the Sultan's Wok Pot and Hook Line and Sinker. The Wok Pot was the best. The Hook Line and Sinker was... More
