Really nice meal in themed surrounds.

After a very disappointing meal in a nearby place that was rated by TA as much higher we were pleasantly surprised by this more commercial (for want of a better word) place. The service was awesome and the food was its equal, if I was in Hobart I would certainly return here.

One of the best atmosphere restaurants' i have been to, never fails to deliver. We always make a point of eating here before we leave Hobart. My son and i had the Depth Chargers, we both like hot food and do they deliver, if you are not a chilli eater do not go there but we loved it. My son... More

great decor and atmosphere, so much to look at. The cob loaf and seafood chowder were a delicious entree. I had the mixed grill on the BBQ and my husband had the Fish Stew. Both were delicious! All in all a great restaurant, would highly recommend.

this is definitely one of the best seafood restaurants in Hobart. We tried grilled salmon, tempura salmon and stewed fish. Big serve and very tasty. Well worth every cents.

Good enough that we went there two. Others in a row. The steamed mussels were to die for. Constructed like the inside of an old ship, lots of atmosphere and tables to keep you private if needed too

We have made a point to come to this restaurant every time we have been in Hobart. The seafood is always fresh and the service great. Setting is great with all sorts of nautical themes. There is two seatings so it is best to go to the second one so you can "linger longer"

What a Gem! From the moment you walk in you are ensconced in the wonderful atmosphere of The Drunken Admiral. The theme isn't over done, and it's fun for the kids. Our son was entranced the whole meal, he loved every nook and cranny. Mums and Dads have an excellent choice of local beers and wines and the food is... More

The Drunken Admiral was right next to our hotel, so we thought we would go and try the seafood. It was 6 pm on a Monday night in March, and the place was jam-packed. There seemed to be a lot of parties going on. We had just arrived in town, so we had not had time to make a booking.... More

This is not a review but just information regarding the restaurant timings. It was highly recommended to us for its seafood. We went there for our last meal in Hobart. Unfortunately, it was closed - since they only serve dinner. Location on the docks was perfect.

This place has a good reputation... but.... I feel that the prices aren't really justified by the quality, originality or size of the meals.... Not saying that it's a bad place, but three of us went for dinner.... my Marrakech was good, could have been bigger, the other two meals were fine, just not worth it.... No booking, but no... More
