Great burgers

I've only been to preachers for drinks and a cheese platter in the past. Recently visited with a friend for lunch. I had the chicken burger which was absolutely delicious - I find myself craving it! Chips were also tasty. Recommend a burger and drink outside in the sun! Perfect spot.

There are no airs or graces about this place. A very casual feel & layout with lots of pokey little places, both inside & out. A healthy little craft beer list that is not too pretentious in the surroundings. Food menu is snacks & burgers, therefore perfect with beer. Can be noisy inside with boisterous groups, but what bar isn't.

This is one of the rare occasions where Trip Advisor has led me astray. I visited this bar based on the reviews on here and was sorely let down. Being that it is an old house converted into a bar, the noise from roudy patrons echos though the halls. It is deafening. And the food, was very very average. It... More

Great bar in a cottage. Lovely selection of local craft beer and would recommend people check it out if they are keen on that kind of thing. Great place to escape the cold.

Awesome bar! It has a bus outside of the bar where you can sit in the warmth and have some of their amazing drinks. I loved their Hot Toddy made with Whiskey...It was perfect for the cold day. They're burgers and fries were also delicious! I was so full by the end of it all!

My wife and I stumbled across This cool little watering hole on our weekend in Hobart. We loved it especially the hot cider by the fire outside. Highly recommend.

This place is primarily a bar with a wide range of different and Tasmanian ales, ginger beer and ciders. They let you have a taste test. The ginger beer was greatly to my liking. Sit outside even in winter they have heaters, sit in the bus or let your kids use it as a plaything, sit inside in the warmth.... More

Popped in a couple of times on recent visit, all staff we came across were very passionate about the local beers and ciders and happy to allow tasting before choosing an didn't feel rushed. Burgers were amazing with great chips and children loved sitting by the fire playing chess. Will definitely be back.

I've always wanted to go here and finally visited this week. It is such a cool and quirky place, I will definitely be back again. Sat outside and had a cheese platter and a cider. Cheeses were delicious and it was only $16 and between two of us, we couldn't finish it. The bus and outdoor atmosphere is great!

Really good little pub, serving up a heap of craft beer on tap. Staff know what they're talking about with the beer and offer good recommendations. The set-up is great, whether inside or outside or even in the bus which is a brilliant concept! Not a huge range of food, but the burgers are tops. Nice friendly atmosphere.
