The food was great, even better than great, all dishes were fresh, full of flavour, hot and pretty good size. The service is very attentive with staff able to assist with recommendations. We would have loved to try a dessert but just couldn't fit in. The seafood and duck were exceptionally good.

I haven't eaten at a lot of restaurants in Hobart, but this is my pick for value and consistently good food. Other places I have been have not been successful at all. Delicious Asian food in a quiet atmosphere - looking over the Harbour and Marina.

Had a pleasant dinner here with a group of friends while visiting Hobart. Service was friendly and the location is great, but this restaurant failed to impress me. The food was good, but certainly not asian gourmet - really no better than I could get from my local Chinese takeaway for at least half the price.

.Visited today with four friends and we all enjoyed our meals. My Sweet and Sour Pork with fried rice was delicious, and the Banana fritter with icecream and cream was just OH SO NICE. The service was very quick and the staff were friendly and efficient. I had a walker and it was no problem for them, they were very... More

Visited with family recently. Although a busy Saturday night the service and food was excellent. Good wine list and great menu. Servings are beautifully presented and plentiful as well as delicious. Great night thanks Jeff Ho.

Went on Sunday night for a family brithday and had the banquet. Portion sizes were very good and the food was excellent. With six of us we were able to have two different banquets (min 3 people) and so had a great selection of mains to choose from including beef, chicken and seafood options. The fried rice was great too... More

We were craving Asian food after a long drive to Port Arthur, so lucky to find this gem through tripadvisor.. The setting is really like an Asian restaurant with the big round tables. The food was a mix of Singaporean & Malaysian style. I particularly enjoyed the claypot curry seafood & strawberry pork, though the soup was so-so only.

This is one of our favourite chinese restaurants. The owner/chef always comes out and says hello. All dishes are delicious! The quality is always the same. The chicken wings and special fried rice is very addictive! Bring back the quail! Service can be slow on busy nights! Recommend a visit for lunch and take in the views of the waterfront.

Went with a friend for catch-up. Started well enough but didn't last. Had to call for attention, pls to get water and wine. The spring roll interior tasted as if it had been in the blender (Im sure they hadn't) and the pastry not crisp. Friends soup OK, if not fabulous. The main course, pork sweet and sour was average.... My wife and I have been dining at Jeff Ho's restaurant regularly over the past 3 years. I am perplexed by some of the bad reviews for this venue. We've never had anything but excellent service. Yes, sometimes they employ university students (this is a uni town) and some of them may lack the finesse and experience of professional waiters... More
