Had the sweet potato en sunflower seed fritters, really brilliant! Kim chi pancakes are a similar experience. Have been here a few times now and it's consistently good! Great for coffee as well.

My sister and I had the same experience as another reviewer up all night we had chicken salad if it had been only me ok but my sister had the same stomachs pains and uncomfortable experience and a very very expensive meal we had a coffee each with a chicken salad and 1 soft drink pot of tea and a... I dined here a little while ago but was late to write a review! The food here is some of the best I've had and I really enjoyed the service from the owner despite the high demand to this popular cafe! For brunch I had the kimchi pancake and it was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had.... More

Such an interesting menu at Ginger Brown. Healthy without being too in your face. Alternate grains in lots of dishes - so great gluten free choices, always a plus for me. All day breakfast, snacks or light lunches - plenty of options. The coffee is great but they do all sorts of good juices etc so give that a try... More

After two months in south eastern Asia we headed back to GB for breakfast today. WOW, have to say it's the best thing we've had since being home. The menu has been slightly re-vamped and our sweet-potatoe & sunflower seed fritter was to die for. The coffee & service as always was great. Keep it up Ben & the team... More

A big call I know, but this place never fails to disappoint. A continually evolving menu with great options to suit every mood and hunger (or hangover!) level. Magnificent coffee to top things off. Cool vibe inside, without the arrogance you might expect with somewhere this good. It's small, so book to avoid the queue.

I guess it was just bad luck. An omelette and a fried egg punished its two consumers that night with no sleep and plenty of running. Clearly this place usually gets good reviews so this was probably a one off eggercise but there won't be an opportunity for redemption as although it seems fair to give a place a second... More

We stopped here after a day out, and initially were a little reluctant because we had the kids with us. It didn't matter, the staff were friendly and helpful, even gave the kids a little treat the keep them occupied. Nice atmosphere, good service and great coffee. Couldn't ask for more.

Had a fantastic breakfast here on a Sunday. Coffees were good, nowhere near the calibre that we experienced at pilgrim. But the food-awesome! I had the kimchi pancake which was amazing, and a pretty big serve size-drool. Wifey had the bubble and squeak- again delicious and a generous portion. Will be back next time we're in hobart!
