Checked out Hotel menu on web, looked good, prices were reasonable. When we arrived at hotel for a meal the next day the prices on some items had changed and not just by a dollar or two up to $8 difference. This was not the real problem, although it was steep. It was the Managers attitude, his body language and the fact that he rolled his eyes as he walked away and didn't really care when we brought the issue to his attention. The menu had been changed the week before and they hadn't updated the web. Now if Management behave like this they shouldn't expect much more from there staff. The staff were great. They were very helpful and pleasant.

It wasn't a busy Sunday night so there is no excuse but one of our party ordered a well done steak and what was delivered was closer to rare than anything. I ordered Lamb Backstrap on a Risotto base. The risotto was okay but the lamb was almost crunchy. Others in our group reported mixed results so... read more

Good sized meal, good service. Didn't like that the kids in the hotel were running around between tables (not the hotel's fault).

After a visit to the Foreshore Tavern last night, it has made it to the top of my list. Unfortunately for them though, the list is for the "restaurant to be avoided at all costs" list. The service was extremely slow from the beginning with the bar staff taking more than five minutes to get a drink, (fair enough if... More

We are not often in this vicinity so this was the first time at this establishment. Typical pub/tavern fare but reasonably priced and varied. Kids playground and a few amusements mean that this is a popular family outing - several groups there when we ate there with noise levels to match a lot of people enjoying themselves! Service was quick... More

The meals were not bad and it was very handy as my husband could get there on his disabled scooter and had access to everywhere

The food is ok and reasonably priced. The service is quick considering the huge number of meals they produce. However, the atmosphere is horrible. A big hall packed with people. This isn't fine dining! If you have kids, the play area, speed and cost may be worth a visit. Otherwise eat somewhere else.

This tavern/bistro was good, roomy with plenty of seating and food prices where reasonable and in line with most hotel bistro/pub/taverns. The food was fresh, the service good. There is no competition for this place as it is in an isolated area, try going earlier than later in mealtimes as it does get busy.

Have been here several times for a meal and must admit this place is really hit and miss with the quality of food. There were three of us dining. I opted for the trevally fillets - overcooked and dry as were the chips. Other members had chicken parmie and the curry. Both said that their meals were ok. It was... More

Five of us dined sat night....not a hard order, parmigiana, chicken tenders entree as main, soup as main with bowl of chips. And two "special" king George snapper @ $25 a pop. Chips came before garlic bread and got sent back. Other meals okish, chicken tenders slightly burnt, but the King George Snapper was woeful. Most over cooked dry disgusting... More

We stopped here for dinner on our last night. Great food and decent prices and quick service turn around. Great for families on a budget.
