The Brunswick Hotel is a relaxed pub and restaurant with our hotel offering at least 8 beers on tap and some of Tassie's best food & wine.

The wine list features an evolving selection of Tasmania's red and white wines, both by the glass and bottle.

The Brunswick Hotel is also known for its seasonal menu cooked to perfection from some of Tasmanian and Australia's freshest local produce, including over 30 Parmi's.

Great food but...

Would be five star if food bill was able to be split. Few people carry cash these days, and with a table of ten couples it seems pretty poor the simple splitting of a bill cannot be achieved. Food was great.

My friend & I dined at the Brunswick Hotel on Monday night. Admittedly we had tried 4 restaurants/pubs first which were all closed, before she said 'let's try the Brunswick'. I hadn't been for over 17 years and what a very pleasant surprise. We were seated immediately & the service was impeccable. I had the Italian Chicken parma (yummo!) &... More

We booked for 6pm for a meal and was informed we would have to leave by 7.30pm. A hen's night was already in full force with loud drinking games in the bar. Unfortunately they came through for a meal a little bit later and the drinking game continued. I could not hear my friend speak and she was right next... More

When you enter you expect a big dirty parmi and not much else but the menu items are enlightening and unique with some lovely game meats on offer. I've been here a few times of late and never disappointed in the service or quality of food.

Hands down the best Parma's in town! Unfortunately they are the only items I can review as we haven't gotten further into the menu. Great range to choose from....some unusual combinations. They even serve a double decker but find the original size is plenty. I can recommend the Honolulu and of course the stock standard traditional. Great range of beers... More

We found this little Gem quite by accident but glad we did. Positioned next door to a Backpackers Hostel we didn't know quite what to expect. The Hotel has quite a "Grunge" look about it, but it works. The Menu is limited but everything is done well. My partner had the Wallaby Parma, and I had the Seafood Basket. Both meals... More

We originally only went there for a beer but it was a rainy day and it was so warm and comfortable in there we decided to stay for food too. This place has been said to have the best Parmi in Hobart so I was really happy to see they had vegetarian parmis for me to try! Instead of chicken... More

Had the mushroom parmi with the 'Englishman' topping (mushi peas, mash potato, yorkshire pud). Paired with an amber ale - perfect. Quite possibly the best chips in tassie as well.

Set in a charming pub the bistro in this place is great! A huge menu of parma's and other pub classics to choose from. We ordered at the bar but food was brought to us which is always a bonus! Meal was excellent and huge, we will definitely be back. Only down side there is limited tables and they are... More

We started off with mocktails which were absolutely delicious, fresh ingredients, fantastic taste, no alcohol. then we met up with the rest of the family for dinner. I had had enough to eat that day so just opted for a side dish of chips and aoli. Big fat chips coated in I don't know what but oh my, they were... More
