Great crews with genuine warm n cheerful reception. We did not booked n the place was crowded. After twenty minutes waiting we have our seats for five of us. Whilst waiting the head waiter had the good sense to take our preorders n food came about ten minutes after been seated. Pizza w fresh shrimps were great. Mussels n prawns... More

Visited Solo for dinner on a Wednesday night, so good! The restaurant was busy but still inviting and warm, great atmosphere! Service was personal and truly excellent, staff were excited and genuine. We had the Amatriciana pasta and Amor calzone, both were just delicious! The Nutella calzone and Tartufo ice cream were amazing desserts. Tonight was our first visit but... More

Went to the Takeaway section of Solo Pasta, wanted a special treat for my wifes birthday,a Tartufo icecream which are really hard to find in Hobart.Arrived five minutes after they opened,no queue but had to wait thirty five minutes for a staff member to deign to walk to the freezer and get out my two Tartufo, not happy, plus they tried to... Great for pizza, pasta and basic Italian favourites. Loud and busy most times with a big takeaway business. Modern interior with attentive service. Try sitting at the counter for a quick meal and chat with the staff. Good and affordable wine list. Families, couples, and university crowd. Popular for the 'cheap and cheerful' Hobart meal in Sandy Bay.

We visited this restaurant based on reviews on here and we are glad we did! It was busy, lively but also cosy...we sat in the back smaller section. Simon greeted us quickly and we were seated in no time (we did have a booking). We had oysters for entree, pizza and pasta for main and a lovely chocolate/hazelnut gelato for... More

This trendy local Italian in Hobart (that is the most southern point of Tasmania, about one and half hour flight south of Sydney) is doing a lot of things right. Service was excellent, we did not book but were early enough to be fitted into the 'first service'. On the way we picked up what we thought was a nice... More

When we stayed there, this place seemed being the hottest place in this area. Seeing the status of having no seat left, we absolutely understand why it was ranked very high. However, we did not have to wait too long, the manager quickly arranged for us to have our seats. The prices were very reasonable (you can check the menu... More

Beautiful anti pasta platter and very tasty pizza. Service was excellent. Fully booked, but they managed to find us a table. Prices quite reasonable. Would live to return another time.
