We go to this restaurant as often as our busy schedule allows and we have never been disappointed. The food is superb and the staff are a delight.

This restaurant was recently refurbished with fantastic results. It has great ambiance. The owners attend to every customer with great sincerity and friendliness. This is on top of a meal that was simply delicious. I don't think I have ever tasted a calzone as I have at Solos - period!.

We were able too ring up at 6pm and get a booking at 7.30 , all aspects of the night were wonderful, inc front of house, food, service, no complaints at all.

I booked three weeks out and still struggled to get a good time slot. But that's because they are sooo busy!! The food was lovely, the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was alive! The staff were all very friendly, kind and inviting. I was with a group of six friends ranging in age from 40 to 55 and our... More

Food was great, service was wonderful from the two gentleman at the front of house. However the waitress seemed to be in a hurry for us to leave the restaurant, we did not appreciate having the bill bought to our table in a glass when we had not even asked for it and were still ordering more items.

We chose this restaurant for our first night in Hobart and it certainly set the bar very high! Fantastic food for all members of the family, great atmosphere and service. Recommended for people who love quality and flavour and for the kids.

We went to this restaurant as it was listed as Hobart's number one restaurant, but weren't very impressed, we found it very crowded and noisy, very hard to talk above the noise, also the food we ordered wasn't that good, calamari was overcooked and tough, disappointing as we were looking forward to visiting the restaurant.

Awful food. Calamari was tasteless and like elastic. Three of us ordered that for entre. Fourth person had risotto, looked awful, tasted awful, no flavour. Two of us had ribs for main. Quite dry and chewy, not much meat on bones. It's a noisy place which I wouldn't mind if the food was good. It wasn't, we expected better as... More

The renovation has enhanced the atmosphere and the customer service is second to none. Solo Pasta continues to offer beautiful Italian food and they are always so accommodating to our gluten-free family member. The new menu is even better than before. As with the past 3 years, I would highly recommend this restaurant to couples, families and groups.
