Tucked away in Salamanca this is a great place to meet friends and family for breakfast. Good menu that includes fresh seasonal produce. Good coffe. It is very popular at weekends so just allow some time to be seated.

This is a quirky cafe with great personality nestled in the Salamanca Arts Centre which is full of great shops. You sit on the stage at the entrance to the Peacock Theatre with the glow of morning sunshine through the skylight enjoying fresh healthy meals. Try the savourry for some really great tastes, though their tarts and sweet things are... More

Lovely location tucked away in Salamanca Arts Centre, was the perfect farewell to Hobart before departing for the east coast. Get in early to get a table! Delicious scrambled eggs and the rye toast just topped it off- avoid the tourist traps and visit this value for money, quality cafe.

We had to wait a short while for a table on a busy Monday morning. I had chosen this little cafe because I had heard [and read on Tripadvisor] that the coffee was good. This proved to be correct and it was the best coffee we had on our stay in Hobart. An added bonus was that we had a... More

A great little cafe in Salamanca. Lovely meals, vegan and vego options and great service. Of all the cafes around the area this is the best!

Hidden away from busy tourist traffic around Salamanca Place, this gem of a restaurant has an outstanding breakfast lunch menu including scrambled eggs on toasted sour dough bread. We discovered this place while wandering Hobart's Saturday market, looking for quieter place to sit down and eat. The extremely busy staff managed to be polite and found us a table followed... More

Supposedly the best scrambled eggs in Hobart? Not in our experience- too runny and flowing off the plate with no seasoning. The toast was nice but the eggs ruined it all. The coffee was bitter and disappointing- not our best experience.
