My husband read a review elsewhere recommending the scrambled eggs at this hidden cafe. They were certainly worth the hunt: lovely creamy texture and a generous serve on very tasty sourdough toast. Husband had the beans which still had some nice texture, and tasty flavour- not just a chilli hit. Coffee was pretty good too, although you should know in... More

My partner is so partial to a particular pickle on a particularly tasty sandwich (leg ham, farmhouse cheddar on home-made bread) that she insists on returning to Tricycle every time we are in Hobart. Not that I need convincing. My favourite is a spicy baked eggs, or their home-made muffins, or in fact, anything on their menu (not partial to... More

My wife who had been there before took me for breakfast. She is in love with the baked eggs. The beans were great. This is place that is in the arcade and can be a peaceful solitude while having coffee and breakie on a winters morning.

Tucked up an arcade off Salamanca Place, this was a delight. Very friendly staff and quick service on the meals. Food was great - recommend the baked eggs.

Worth hunting this little place down, down an arcade off Salamanca Road. Best barista in town and great food at a reasonable price. Service was excellent too.

On the basis of tripadvisor reviews we went looking for this cafe and found it after substantial effort which turned out to be well worth it. Cheerful prompt service despite being filled to capacity and beautiful food - loved the 'breakfast trifle' special! Thoroughly recommended for breakfast but get there early so you can grab a table!

Was looking for a unique place to grab a coffee, however my mother and I stumbled across this little gem while wandering Salamanca Place. We ended up taking a seat and one of the very friendly staff members bought us menus despite us telling her we only wanted coffees. Went ended up having a delicious savoury muffin with zucchini and... More

Through a hall way off Salamanca main street is this great little cafe. They had sold out of the pikelets (mini pancakes), but we had something else delicious. Also, coffee was pretty damn good. I ordered an orange juice and they refused, "not in season" - they only serve food that is local, fresh and in season. Loved it.

We were recently in hobart on a short visit and stopped by this cafe for a small bite and a coffee. The service was prompt and staff friendly. The menu offered some great lunch and breakfast choice and a lot were gluten free, great for us a one is a coeliac. We enjoyed a piece of roasted plum and almond... More

Given this is a small cafe, it wasn't much of a surprise that we had to wait a little while for a table for 5 but given that we were seated around 12.45ish, it was a bit disappointing that a few things had already sold out from their specials menu. I ordered a milkshake (ok) and a chicken and green... More
