Dropped in for a quick coffee....

Recomended by our hotel, quaint and good coffee! We sat inside for a quick coffee before heading off to Mona. Seating inside limited but tables under cover in arcade outside. Staff pleasant and attentive. Food options but didn't have time to try on this visit.

Saturday morning with the Salamanca Markets in full swing outside and it was standing room only here in this popular little corner of the Arts Centre. Swift service means a regular turnover, though, so we didn't wait long. We had a delicious breakfast sharing one of their regular toasties and one of their daily specials - blueberries and goats curd... More

Can't comment on anything other than the coffee but it was very good. Although we had superb weather for the five days we were in Tassie, I know from prior experience that the weather can be changeable (and that's putting it nicely) so this place also gets a shout out for being indoors.

Used TripAdvisor to find this cafe and again the community came up trumps. Arriving from Melbourne dropped the car at accommodation and walked down to the Tricycle Cafe for a late breakfast. Most tables full we found one. Full table service. We ordered scrambled eggs on sourdough and ham sourdough toastie with coffees. Friendly swift service with coffee arriving before... More

Good service , good plain food and weird location. The kids serving are keen but a bit new. Service and food are quick and I like the place .

We had wondered around the markets and decided to get breakfast and coffee at this cute cafe. We were promptly seated and orders taken. The drinks arrive quick enough, however, there was a long wait for food. The waitress thanked us for our patience (did we have much choice?). Food beautifully presented but a little tasteless. We all had to... More

We loved this cafe - such a great find in Salamanca Arts Centre. Friendly, helpful staff, awesome coffee, great service and delicious food. The breakfast menu is small but perfectly formed. There's a lot to love here!

Stopped for lunch on our first day in Hobart. Chose it at random, and were very happy with the food, service and atmosphere. No problem with gluten free requirements. The old tricycles were fun to see.
