OMG, we just had a fabulous lunch at this little gem. I'm from Perth and stumbled on this place via a recommendation from our hotel. The food was wonderful, very fresh and was served quickly and with a smile. Apparently, most of the fruit and veg comes from Weston farm, which is the owners property. The lady behind the counter mentioned... More

I loved my lunch at pigeon hole. It's got fresh, delicious food, and it's small and quaint, with friendly (although not the most attentive) service. I also love that it does smaller portions than most places so I didn't leave feeling stuffed.

Visited here with kids following LP and Urbanspoon reviews - as long as you want something with a load of bread in it you'll be fine. Nice enough little place but on asked what the cheese raclette was and having it described as "mild" and suitable for a 10 year old, the ensuing stinky sandwich was too strong for the... More

I really like the fact that the owners of this little cafe are trying to do something different with their food. A delicious take on different breakfast fare. Highly recommended!

We'd been meaning to go to Pigeon Hole for about 3 years and it was worth the wait because in the last year the cafe has been taken over by the Weston family. With their paddock to plate philosophy and much of the ingredients coming from their own farm, this is a fantastic experience. First you see the wonderful range... More

I love breakfast and I really enjoy cooking my own, so when I find an amazing choice of dishes that I like and would cook for myself then I have to let you know too. Local food, beautiful staff, gorgeous owner and in my home town too.

Great little spot on the out skirts of town. Interesting menu, awesome bread and great coffee. If I lived in Hobart, this would be my local!

If you're wondering where the best coffee is in Hobart, then it's tucked away here! The female Barista of Pigeon Hole makes the best coffee in Hobart. I travel across town for it. You won't be disappointed to pay the Tasmanian coffee prices at this gorgeous place. Food and place wonderful too.
