I really like the fact that the owners of this little cafe are trying to do something different with their food. A delicious take on different breakfast fare. Highly recommended!

We'd been meaning to go to Pigeon Hole for about 3 years and it was worth the wait because in the last year the cafe has been taken over by the Weston family. With their paddock to plate philosophy and much of the ingredients coming from their own farm, this is a fantastic experience. First you see the wonderful range... More

I love breakfast and I really enjoy cooking my own, so when I find an amazing choice of dishes that I like and would cook for myself then I have to let you know too. Local food, beautiful staff, gorgeous owner and in my home town too.

Great little spot on the out skirts of town. Interesting menu, awesome bread and great coffee. If I lived in Hobart, this would be my local!

If you're wondering where the best coffee is in Hobart, then it's tucked away here! The female Barista of Pigeon Hole makes the best coffee in Hobart. I travel across town for it. You won't be disappointed to pay the Tasmanian coffee prices at this gorgeous place. Food and place wonderful too.

Seriously some of the best bread I've ever eaten. I've eaten bread all over the world! Simply delicious and then there's the porridge, with pears and figs. Which genius realized this would be amazing?! It was. Very good coffee and friendly waitstaff. Great start to a great day in Tasmania!!

Only a kilometer or so walk from the city in Gouldbourn street was little Pigeon Hole. This place was friendly, service very efficient, the food (what we had) delicious and the coffee just awesome! Highly recommend a visit if visiting Hobart. We had the croque monsier and the chicken liver parfait with sage butter, pickled veges and sourdough - the... More

I am lucky to have this great cafe just around the corner from my place of work and I visit often. The small, but varied menu is full of fresh local produce from the owner's farm, and it is always difficult to decide "what to have for lunch". Great coffee and pleasant, friendly staff. For visitors to our city, a... More

Pigeon Hole has my repeat custom due to the combination of great food, coffee, service & atmosphere. Being greeted by name & a welcoming smile is greatly appreciated by this Pigeon Hole regular. The owners of the cafe are the farmers & owners of Weston Farm. The produce grown at Weston Farm is identified on the menu & ensures truly... More
