We found this little place just down the road from our hotel, nothing else was opened so we thought we would give it a go. I am glad we did, i don't usually enjoy Chinese food however this was amazing. I got Veggie Dumplings and a chicken noodle stir fry. both YUM and great value for money. Staff / Owner... More

We went to this restaurant as it was close to our accommodation. we ordered a noodle dish, spring rolls and of course dumplings. The spring rolls were not even hot and had no filling at all and casing which was very chewy. the noodle dish we ordered was not too bad but nothing special, but the star of the restaurant... More

Went here for dinner during a short visit to Hobart. I would call this food western-tasting Chinese food. Thechicken corn soup was one of the worst I've ever had...very oily and barely any chicken or corn in it. The chicken with cashew nuts included those square-cut veges you get frozen, including potatoes. The beef with oyster sauce (?) was ok.... More

I am a nurse at the royal hobart hospital and I went to get lunch one day at dumpling world. I sat behind the glass where I could see the kitchen, simply because there was a seat available. I watched as cook eating out of a box I thought it was interesting that he would cook his own lunch, lucky... More

Firstly, I am sorry to let you feel uncomfortable! But our chief's hands was washed every time before cooking, and sometime our chief will check the quality of food! Not like what you saw:shovel it into his face! We will keep the sanitary condition well in our restaurant! Please do not worry! And sorry again More

Wow. How can someone stuff up noodles and soup? My 7 year old nephew can do better. Add hot water to 2 minute noodles. Talk about way too much salt in a very ordinary noodle soup. Dumplings were awful as well as the two different soups. Woolworths is next door. Go get 2 minute noodles in a bowl and you... More

I went to Dumpling World in Hobart a week ago. Ordered dumplings after having to engage the services of an interpreter Then began my wait. A procession of customers came in after me, ordered and then sat down at the table. They were duly presented with two courses as my next shave drew nearer I eventually asked the lady behind... More

We had a few quick yum cha bites and was quite good. Maybe not the best and not compared to some of the great Asian places in Melbourne but was fun and nice to find since my cha and the like is not huge in Tassie. Nice staff and quick cook upon order service
