I found the variety & food here most acceptable. The price wasn't bad, either. As the other dumpling world has no vegetarian options,I feel it needs to be said that this Dumpling World restaurant in the CBD of Hobart is complimentary of the fact that the other restaurant was very disappointing. With the choice,I recommend to everybody to go to this dumpling world, just down... I chose to eat here because it was very near where we were staying at the Fountain Hotel and I just fancied a big bowl of wonton soup. It was tasty and plentiful and at $11 filled me up just fine. Saw a lot of people getting take away and eating in which is always a good sign. If you... More

Stopped here at around 7.45pm one night and had dumplings and a laksa. There is plenty to choose from on the menu. The dumplings were only pan fried on one side but were still very nice. Laksa was lovely with a beautiful rich soup. Service was pretty quick. The rice looked nice and got a thumbs up from the teenager... More

We went to this restaurant as it was close to our accommodation. we ordered a noodle dish, spring rolls and of course dumplings. The spring rolls were not even hot and had no filling at all and casing which was very chewy. the noodle dish we ordered was not too bad but nothing special, but the star of the restaurant... More

Went here for dinner during a short visit to Hobart. I would call this food western-tasting Chinese food. Thechicken corn soup was one of the worst I've ever had...very oily and barely any chicken or corn in it. The chicken with cashew nuts included those square-cut veges you get frozen, including potatoes. The beef with oyster sauce (?) was ok.... More

I am a nurse at the royal hobart hospital and I went to get lunch one day at dumpling world. I sat behind the glass where I could see the kitchen, simply because there was a seat available. I watched as cook eating out of a box I thought it was interesting that he would cook his own lunch, lucky... More

Firstly, I am sorry to let you feel uncomfortable! But our chief's hands was washed every time before cooking, and sometime our chief will check the quality of food! Not like what you saw:shovel it into his face! We will keep the sanitary condition well in our restaurant! Please do not worry! And sorry again More

Wow. How can someone stuff up noodles and soup? My 7 year old nephew can do better. Add hot water to 2 minute noodles. Talk about way too much salt in a very ordinary noodle soup. Dumplings were awful as well as the two different soups. Woolworths is next door. Go get 2 minute noodles in a bowl and you... More

I went to Dumpling World in Hobart a week ago. Ordered dumplings after having to engage the services of an interpreter Then began my wait. A procession of customers came in after me, ordered and then sat down at the table. They were duly presented with two courses as my next shave drew nearer I eventually asked the lady behind... More
