Good Indian and well priced

Need a change from all the more upmarket restaurants then a little Indian is the way to go. Curries and tandoori are excellent.

Went to dine there (been there few times before) after cricket match. Ordered fried rice, goat curry, briyani etc etc. Was served onion rings as onion Bhaji. Come on guys - it is NOT bhaji. The goat curry is not goat. It is frozen lamb which was badly heated. There was a big peice of foil in the curry too.... More

A terrific meal in North Hobart. Husband had a prawn curry. Heaps of prawns. Very hot but he loved it. I had a Thali. The butter chicken is to die for. Had to take some home.

Both locations, North Hobart and Salamanca are worthy of a visit. I normally have the "Thali" dishes which are good value. North Hobart restaurant can be a bit cramped when busy.

The food was well priced and tastes OK. We had a banquet for 2 people at $29pp. We got so much food. 3 curries, bread, rice and entrees. Highly recommend. Service was quick despite being super busy.

Fantastic food. Hobart punches well above its weight when it comes to food quality and this restaurant is no different. A great meal and great value for money. Fantastic food and especially good for breakfast (leftovers!!) Yum.

We have dined at Annapurna (Elizabeth Street) several times and always attempt to get there when travelling to Hobart from NW Tas. The food and service is faultless (and I often wish it wasn't located so far from my home!). The menu is extensive and very well priced with generous servings. The staff are very friendly and provide great service... More

Have been dining at Annapurna Resturant for many years and have been very happy with the food and service, but our last 3 visits our bill has been wrong. Word of warning.. Check the amount before paying the man at reception. There will be 2 amounts at the bottom he will charge the higher one even though the lower one... More

Ate in both locations of this restaurant. ( the other is at salamanca place) This one has a better menu and tastier food. Quick service as we were rushing to the airport. It was fully packed at 6pm. High quality food. No issues. Definitely one of the better indian food locations.
