The ambience is clean and organized, not chaotic like some other curry places down the road, but the food is just average, nothing great.

Friends sent 3 emails from Canberra and had confirmations for a booking of 12 for a 50th birthday. Upon arrival tried to tell them they had booked at wrong restaurant. When emails were shown to them they admitted mistake - had not written it down! A table was arranged. Initially started ok, the actual waiting staff were lovely and banquet... More

Came with a group of 4. We all ordered the Thali. When the Thali is available I will always order it as you get a great range of curries. We ordered the special, it came with a chicken, vegetable and a beef or lamb curry. Along with raita, rice, naan and pappadum. I was a bit disappointed it didn't come... More

Thats the only answer to explain this mind numbingly yummy Indian cuisine. Only a God could created something so delicious as this. It appeals to every sense a man posesses, sweet, spicy, hot, cold, fragrant and fabulous. Every dish is a delicate balance of flavours that keeps you bouncing back. God has descended from the heavens and has taken up... More

I have to say that having read previous reviews of the service here, I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, the service was excellent as was the food. Friendly inviting atmosphere, spotlessly clean and a really nice ambiance. The food was fantastic and I would recommend it any day. Well worth a visit.

I only came down to Annapurna to get some takeaway but when I saw how lovely the dining area is I wished I had chosen to dine in. I ordered the veggie korma and an eggplant dish. They were both around the $13 mark which I thought was pretty good price. They came with complimentary rice, which a nice change... More

We have been a customer of Annapurna in North Hobart for many years and usually eat there once a fortnight. The food has lots of flavour and we always look forward to eating there. In the past the staff were very friendly and accommodating but on the last few occasions one of the staff members was not as friendly which... More

We visited here 7 years ago and had to come back. The service is very fast, the helpings generous but the flavors are amazing. We will be back again this trip. Very, very enjoyable

We have recently had two lunches at Annapurna and enjoyed both immensely. The first was a shared thali platter plus a couple of samosas really tasty and plenty to share. For the second meal we decided to have the grilled meats plus a fabulous eggplant vegetable dish and naan breads. Again more than enough plus they have Kingfisher beer –... More

We went on a Saturday night. The host was good and the food was too - some nice flavours and dishes I hadn't had before so that alone was worth the visit. The place had low key vibe, pretty basic decor and it was fairly noisy (actually very noisy). Unfortunately (and I don't know if they do this all the... More
