Love the food - always busy place - a good sign!

Decided to go out for dinner on this cold night in Hobart. Thought mid week would be OK at Annapurna's but the place was still packed! Ordered our food & drinks and they came quickly. Wonderful taste and presentation. Far too much on the Thali tasting plate for one person - but I was soon... read more

A thali for lunch & it didn't disappoint. Quick service, large portions of naan & rice, & tasty too although the lamb was the winner. First time to this casual restaurant & we would definately return again.

We dined here last night with a group of 20 for a birthday celebration. Service was prompt and seamless - even though restaurant was fully booked. Many in the group opted for a Thali - my first experince of that and I'll be back for more! It consisted of three small seafood dishes, a mound of rice, a naan bread... More

Went to dine there (been there few times before) after cricket match. Ordered fried rice, goat curry, briyani etc etc. Was served onion rings as onion Bhaji. Come on guys - it is NOT bhaji. The goat curry is not goat. It is frozen lamb which was badly heated. There was a big peice of foil in the curry too.... More

Need a change from all the more upmarket restaurants then a little Indian is the way to go. Curries and tandoori are excellent.

A terrific meal in North Hobart. Husband had a prawn curry. Heaps of prawns. Very hot but he loved it. I had a Thali. The butter chicken is to die for. Had to take some home.

Both locations, North Hobart and Salamanca are worthy of a visit. I normally have the "Thali" dishes which are good value. North Hobart restaurant can be a bit cramped when busy.

The food was well priced and tastes OK. We had a banquet for 2 people at $29pp. We got so much food. 3 curries, bread, rice and entrees. Highly recommend. Service was quick despite being super busy.

Fantastic food. Hobart punches well above its weight when it comes to food quality and this restaurant is no different. A great meal and great value for money. Fantastic food and especially good for breakfast (leftovers!!) Yum.
