BBC is to die for, reasonably priced too. Every meal I have tried here has been great. Highly recommend

Still pumping out value driven food after 20 plus years. I went there on recommendation the first week it opened. The only significant change was when smoking was banned - thankgoodness.

A foodie friend from Melbourne recommended the Beggar's chicken which is best ordered in advance. The whole chicken is roasted with spices in lotus leaves. It is then de-boned at the table. The two dishes went well with steamed rice and greens.

Love this place. Nothing to look at, tiny with cheap furniture. Who cares the food is to die for. Used to live in Adelaide and ate here often. Now I will fly down just to eat here. Don't expect great service, it's all about the food. Good value for money. Only difference now is that the line ups to get... More

The dumplings were alright but seriously there are heaps of other restaurants at gouger. I highly recommend not to go to this place!! The service is really bad.

Great night in with dad and the man. Wonderful crispy skin chicken to start with followed by smoked tea duck absolutely perfect. Moist, tender and just pink. I ordered the red vinegar ribs, ok...but maybe not me. Beef with red peppers and long beans with chili and garlic, they were a winner. Cheap, good, buzzy. No drama's. BYO cheap also.

I don't understand why people rave about this place. Its not a restaurant. Just a chinese diner. Food is ok but not special. Overrated.

Visiting Adelaide on holiday my friends an I chose this restaurant based on the reasonably priced authentic Chinese food and the fact it was the most popular Chinese restaurant on Gouger st on a Tuesday night. This place exceeded our expectations. It was cheap cheerful and delicious. Would definitely recommend eshand eggplant.

I haven't eaten in for some time, but it is the family go-to restaurant for Chinese take-away food. My favourite is the salt and pepper tofu dish, plus the shallot cakes. The grandchildren always choose the venison. Ying Chow is a small, busy, noisy restaurant that serves traditional Chinese food. Almost an institution.
