Literally sitting on the water the restaurant has beautiful river views and wonderful night time city views from every seat in the restaurant. The restaurant is a 10 minute walk along the River Torrens from the Adelaide Festival Centre and or 10 minutes cab ride from any city hotel. Additionally there is ample free parking. Faultless!

Came here for my sisters 18th birthday, both the service and food were outstanding! I would definitely recommend the scallops to start, absolutely amazing. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly we had a great night!

Went to the Red Ochre as a party of 7 friends and family for mid-week dinner. Third visit in 15 years or so and have been consistently impressed by the high standard and wide range of Australian food on offer (the restaurant's USP), but also with friendly (but not overly familiar) and attentive service. There was just one other largish... More

The food at the Red Ochre is not your usual restaurant dining experience. Using Australian native delicacies the food has a taste all of its own and is uniquely enjoyable. The view from the window tables across the Torrens River to the CBD at night is one of the best in Adelaide.

Great views of the Torrens river, looking back towards the city. Particularly good when the sun sets. The restaurant is situated a short walk from the city and takes in the surrounding parklands near the North Adelaide gold course. The restaurant specialises in Australian produce. Following dinner the casino isn't too far, as are the other city delights.

I love this place because it is very close to the city and the shops and the golf course! It is only walking distance from the heart of the city in case you are staying in the city of Adelaide. They also have some delicious menus like the fried fish and some grills and some steaks. They also have a... More

Only issue is that they are not open on a Sunday. The staff are fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. Food magnificent and they are happy to accommodate food allergies.
