Always a great meal at Chianti. Food is classic and can't fault it. The service is great and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It's a must try.

Been here twice now. Food and service is excellent. Wine list is huge and covers the whole range. Chianti especially as you might expect. But all of the list is expensive. They looked after us very well, accommodating an extra person for a pre dinner drink. 3 people couldn't decide which entree to drop from the shortlist of 4, so... More

A most sophisticated and classy restaurant. Beautiful food, well trained and friendly staff with a well thought out wine list. My favorite restaurant in Adelaide. Italian at its best.

I love this place - accessible yet dignified and the staff are so gracious. And BY GEORGE it's good to find a restaurant that puts really interesting international foods on their breakfast menu! It'll be a while until I stop raving about the Uova Al Forno: WOW what a way to start the day. Buonissimo.

Coming from Melbourne and finding a somewhere to take guests who live in Adelaide can be difficult. Tripadvisor helped and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was a little way out from the centre of town, in Hutt Street where there are a number of eateries and cafes. We arrived early and the staff were very obliging in moving from... More

A really interesting menu made the choice difficult, I had the special entrée of tagliolini with rabbit livers, which was delicious and a new experience, followed by a wonderul frutti di mare in a housemade spicy tomato sauce, three plump and tasty prawns, not the farmed variety, with mussels and clams, this was one of the best dishes that I... It is always a joy to dine at this fine Adelaide institution! As a resident of this gracious city I love taking my visitors from other states and overseas to Chianti. Whether it be for lunch or dinner, I can always be absolutely confident that it will be a delightful gourmet experience in a warm, convivial setting. Maria, the proprietor,... More

We dropped in for lunch last week, without a booking, but were warmly greeted and quickly shown to a nice table. Pre-lunch drinks were ordered from the very extensive drinks menu and quickly delivered. My wife chose an entrée size “Tagliolini con Granchio e Zucchini” which was Ribbon pasta, Blue Swimmer crab, zucchini, cream, crab consomme jelly. The entrée size... More

Adelaide has a restricted number of Sunday fine dining options. Chianti Classico is one of them. It was busy when we arrived but service was efficient and the food good. Reputedly the best Italian in Adelaide and certainly very good. An unusual menu and some tasty dishes included.

Enjoyed a mid-morning brunch at Chianti with a group of ladies for a Bridal Shower. They were very accommodating of all the requests. We were well looked after, service was really great. The breakfast menu is delicious. Also love the decor. Must go back for dinner.
