Had dinner here with friends outside (bonus for us that it was a warm, balmy night). Had the yummy Antipasto for entrée - the continental meats were just amazing, great start to the evening. The lady that served us all night was just fantastic, we didn't have to wait for anything - she was extremely professional and very friendly all... More

My wife and I walked past the restaurant the night before and decided to have dinner here for our anniversary. And it proved to be a great decision. We immediately felt welcome, the restaurant looks stylish and staff is very friendly. It's hard to choose from the menu but in the end we settled for the Tortellini in Brodo and... More

My first time at this well-reviewed restaurant didn't disappoint. My traditional breakfast was huge and I couldn't eat it all - only complaint was that the bacon wasn't the way I like it - crispy - but appreciate that not everyone likes it that way. The service was a little slow, but, hey, December and the place was busy. Our... More

Oh my god, where do I begin..?! You are in for a treat. This is the best Italian restaurant in whole Australia. I used to live in Italy and you will notice that Maria and her chefs use traditional family recipes!!! Not even the restaurants in Sydney live up to that quality of food and service! We sat on a... Checked the reviews and thought it would be a great place for our 25th wedding anniversary. What a let down. The service was disappointing and the food even more so. We were served one wrong entree and ended up sharing one whilst waiting for the other to be corrected. No rush by the kitchen, just wait. The mains were the... More

I keep coming back to Chianti because I know that the food shall always be of a high standard. The flavours also change. Apart from some signature dishes which are always on offer the menu changes as does the wine list to highlight what is current at the time. I am never disappointed. Maria and her staff continue to excel.

One thing we enjoy about Italian restaurants is the good food in relaxed atmosphere she friendly staff,, this is not the case at Chianti, the staff were not welcoming, in fact they were very stuffy! The food, well. ... I had my favourite dish marinara this was filled with cockles in the shells and not filled with flavour and was... More

Chianti Classico features regularly in restaurant awards and all the plaudits, and its top 5 ranking in Trip Advisor, are certainly well deserved. My wife and I recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with a relaxing Sunday lunch and from the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel special, just like the day. Great service, a superb... More

after hearing many high reviews my husband and I had breakfast here after spending our anniversary at a hotel in the city. we had made a booking, table was outside and service was terrible. The staff were lovely but it took 20 minutes for our coffees then another 20mins for our food. Also, patrons smoking near the outside area put... More
