All I can say is that this is one of the best eating experiences I have had in a long time. The food is fantastic, the portions excellent, the service attentive and the premises impeccable. If we lived in Adelaide we would be regulars. Do yourself a favour and make a reservation.

Consistent overall excellence is the hallmark of this longstanding Hutt Street institution. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, and you could just walk in for a coffee or glass of wine between times. The hospitality is professional yet friendly. The ambience is cosy and welcoming. The food is excellent: modern Italian cuisine. For a special occasion, Chianti Classico... More

Chianti has been a long standing fav. The service is great (Maria is very warm & welcoming as she greets you) and the food is always delicious. It's not a place that does foams, powders or platters.... And that suits me just fine.

Chianti is one of best places in Adelaide to entertain corporate guests. Weather it is a small group of 4 right up to using the private dining room upstairs for 40 people, the standard of food, service and atmosphere is consistently great. The menu has great variety, the wine list is outstanding value and the staff are professional and friendly.... More

We have been regular customers for a few years now and I have not had any issues with food, service or atmosphere. The food takes me back to Italy but of better quality and sophistication. The wine list is extensive, amazing and easy to read. With experienced waiters and sommeliers, you can't go wrong here. Best dessert you will find... More

Had a great breakfast here on a rainy Saturday morning. It was a special which was a potato and ham hashbrown, two poached eggs and a paprika sauce. Coffee was very good and service was great.

Had a late breakfast on 20 August. Very slow service when restaurant not crowded. Scrambled eggs average and bacon over cooked and chewy. Staff ambivalent. Hmmm .. This place needs a rev-up.

We made a last minute decision to cross the city for "Adelaide's best breakfast" When we arrived at 10.45 a gorgeous women said that we were too late as they close for brekky at 10.30. She checked though and the kitchen kindly agreed to feed us. The dining room is beautifully appointed and interesting and was packed with a broad... More
