Adelaide has a restricted number of Sunday fine dining options. Chianti Classico is one of them. It was busy when we arrived but service was efficient and the food good. Reputedly the best Italian in Adelaide and certainly very good. An unusual menu and some tasty dishes included.

Enjoyed a mid-morning brunch at Chianti with a group of ladies for a Bridal Shower. They were very accommodating of all the requests. We were well looked after, service was really great. The breakfast menu is delicious. Also love the decor. Must go back for dinner.

We were four couples in Adelaide for Writers' Festival week end. We thoroughly enjoyed our stroll from the city centre to Chianti Classico for a delicious, convivial Italian meal - ranging from the old fashioned yet perennially popular pastas, to some of the tastiest, richest finger licking dishes of rabbit and chicken, followed by wonderful desserts. Gorgeous, well priced prosecco... More

We have been to this restaurant a number of times, this time for a birthday lunch. It really does not matter when we come here it is always excellent. Our orders were all great, no one complained. Even though the place was busy we did not wait long. Highly recommend Chianti Classico.

Third visit to this fine restaurant. Birthday celebration this time. Good menu, good service, fab food. This restaurant really doesn't need any introduction if you reside in Adelaide. Same owners for many years, staff well trained and knowledgeable. Great wine list. Although I have never done weekend breakfast here I believe its very good.

Great warm, moody atmosphere. Creative plating and generally very good food. Breakfasts not as good as they used to be (they vary depending on whether the owner Maria is there or not), but lunch and dinner are superb.

Been a while since we've been, but the memory of the experiences doesn't fade...... always simply one of our favourites... classic Italian in all ways.. food, beverages, hospitality, atmosphere. Enhances the reputation of Adelaide as a foodie destination.
