Even though the whole of Adelaide seems to be in awe with this restaurant, I'm not sure it's value for money. Yes, they do offer a great selection of food and wine and yes, their staff is friendly. However, on one of my visits I was there with a table of about 10 people and 1 of them was vegetarian... More

We've been keen to try Press for a couple years and finally made it to Adelaide for dinner last night. We dined upstairs in the dining room and had the "let us feed you" menu which provided ample food. The kingfish, black pudding, and steak were excellent however we were very disappointed with the service which was far too casual... More

Press has formal upstairs dining area and a downstairs casual dining area, we ate upstairs, our waitress was friendly and knowledgable in regards of the menu. I did like that she asked if any of us had any food intolerances that they needed to be aware of. The four of us chose the tasting/degustation option: $68/head. We had beef carpaccio,... More

Press is very near my hotel so decided to eat with a group of 3 colleagues. Most went steak, all saying it was good, while I went the offal mixed grill. Excellent. At $38 it seemed a lot of tasty food - the morcilla being the standout for me... Wine list is extensive and a bit hard to follow, especially... More

Another lunch at another of Adelaide's great dining venues. It was really difficult to decide which of the delicious goodies we would select. Top dishes went to morcilla with wombok remoulade and the absolutely cracking rum and raisin bombe Alaska which was flamed at the table for a big of extra excitement. The much touted creme brûlée while yummy, was... More

THe location of the restaurant is very convenient, right in the downtown area of Adelaide. It's also very easy to find given it's not far from the main road (King Edward). The service was exemplary - young waiters and waitresses were there to offer suggestions and help and wouldn't hurry when I needed more time to choose what to have.... More

A great addition to the Adelaide dining scene. Great food and wonderful staff. A really mixed crowd gave this place a noisy buzz. We had oysters and steak - both excellent courses and tried a lovely local red. Good to see a variety of wines from around Australian and the world - South Australia is becoming less parochial in every... More

Good tapas dishes that include some interesting items such as Ox tongue, lamb brain and other offal, as well as standard tasty food like soft shell crab, all sorts of seafood, pork belly etc. All dishes turned out tasty and cooked right as expected at this price. It's not cheap, but great atmosphere and food and wine.

Great wine list and lovely food. We had the grilled calamari and snapper wing for entree, shared the beef for main, and the creme brulee for desert. It's quite busy for a cold and rainy winter night in Adelaide, so it says something. Great for bigger group to celebrate a special occasion.
