We went for a friend's birthday and walked away feeling as though we over paid for what we received. Dissatisfied we all agreed to never return

My daughter n I meant to dine at Press which was just next door. We were so busy talking we entered the first door we came to which was Melt. Now we've both not been to Melt Waymouth before. We ordered the Tapas to share; I was anxious as my daughter is gluten and dairy intolerant. The waitress was very... More

came here with friends for dinner one night. we got good service at the start of the night but as it got busier it did drop off a bit. had tapas for an entree and then pizzas for dinner. we were having to chase drinks from the staff which was a little bit of a let down, though the staff... More

Just listened to my vertically challenged daughter explain how she was treated when she could not get up to the bar chairs, as no others were vacant. Then informed when they turned up a party of four for lunch, only another couple at the other table. Despite the lack of patronage at that time of the day, staff refused to... More

We called in early evening not feeling too hungry, but as we were flying later that evening we were not sure when our next meal would be. They have a good range of tapas reasonably priced for the size. Our waiter said we needed to order a few but decided to order a couple and see how we felt. Have... More

What is more off putting to a customer than unwelcome looks from ignorant staff that don't get that its the customer that pays their wage. Whilst the food might be great and all one is hardly left with anything but a bad taste in their mouth after the initial greeting or lack thereof...so a note to management, please weed out... More

firstly the atmosphere is fantastic; ambient lighting, rustic look, wine display, open kitchen, an overall cool place to eat. we had the spanish meatballs pizza - amazing - and the duck calzone - the best calzone you will ever eat in your whole life - and the BBQ brisket tapas selection - this was my first time trying brisket and... What a super spot. Greeted on entry and made to feel very welcome. Ordered a pizza which was fresh, cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The wine was chilled and there was a real buzz about the place. Will return- a sign of a lovely evening!

My 12yr old daughter and I entered Melt and were welcomed by a very attentive waiter. Music, décor and atmosphere was super cool. We had no reservations and it was a busy Friday night. He quickly provided us with a table for two. We had meatball pizza and a lovely pear and walnut with greens salad. It was inexpensive for... More

Inner city dining at its best. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We were a walk in booking and there were 7 of us but the staff didn't make us feel guilty for asking if they had space for us. We decided to do the shared table menu and left it to them to work out the food. Everything... More
